I don't see what is so "COOL" about showing your bike (or ANY street bike) on a dyno. Personally, if your not going to show some HIGH HP numbers, why bother putting stuff like this on YOUTUBE. A waste of time in my opinion.
this scotty just checking in that is Bobby dynoing the bike at Stillwater Kawasaki Suzuki and Polaris but check out my wheelie run that i got kicked out of the track at ark city type in scotty's wheelie was a good one lol
looks like you can strap it down a little better but 168 spinnin the tire is still pretty good. I always like to strap the swingarm staight down to the dyno. What kinda times you runnin. 60ft 300 1/8th &mph 1/4 time &mph maybe I can help
i went to the track last friday and ran it 9 times constant 2.0 60 fts :( running anywhere from 10.5-10.7 quarter mile but every run was 140 and 141 mph my last run of the evening was a 10.42 at 141 mph with a 1.9 60ft
hey your consistent and thats hard to do. If you get your 60fts down to a 1.6 your in the 9s easily. you gotta leave at higher rpm and drag that clutch past 60ft to keep the front end down. I got a 520 also with a 16 41 combo mid to high 1.5 60 ft and the front end stays down. I also go through a clutch every 20 passes or so. Also try to get your back axle all the way to the rear of the swingarm adjustment. You will have to replace the adj screws with longer ones. gl
see thats the thing i respect these liter bikes and money for new clutches isnt the problem i ride to the track and ride back home and thats my main objective maybee 9's might be outta the question with that mentality but i can live with that what bike do you run exactly and what kinda mods ill post another video of my runs when i get back home
06 gsxr 1000 lowered, 520 all the o rings pulled out 16f 41rear, ceramic wheel bearing, cams degreed, full ti force exhaust, pc3 with custom map, bmc air filter, front end strap, mickey thompson shootout tire(2 lbs lighter than stock)
These liter bikes make so much power that dynoing them in second results in wheel spin most of the time the second run that you are seeing was in third gear and resulted in 168.4 rwhp
Also imported the DynoJet map for Yoshi tri cone full system and aftermarket/stock filter and we did not make any adjustments first run was 151.3 rwhp but you could clearly see the back tire spinning this was the best video imho enjoy and ride safe!
so how is the 520 chain holding up after all the torture?
