Comets are solid oblects and Jupiter is a gas giant with a small, earth sized, solid interior core. Can you imagin a solid object twice the size of Jupiter? It would be very massive and probably dense enough to collaps into a singularity!

An object would have to have at least 75 times more mass than Jupiter in order to sustain the tiniest amount of hydrogen fusion.

Deuterium fusion is possible at 13 times the mass of Jupiter, but it's very weak and the fuel soon runs out. (They're called brown dwarf stars, although once they've run out there's nothing very star-like about them)

He says the comet had a "huge" pull. In fact, its nucleus was only a few km across, with a TINY gravitational pull. Simple math.

The coma and tail are tenuous (stars can be seen thru them in images). They contain very little mass, and even less gravitational pull than the nucleus. Gravity is due to Mass, not size.

Comet tails, being so lightweight, are pushed by the solar wind and point away from the Sun. But the comet is also moving as it emits material, so the tail forms an arc shape.

The tenuous cloud of gas/dust surrounding the comet was "as big as jupiter", but the central solid part was only a few miles across. Gravity depends on MASS, not size. This comet (any comet) had very little mass, the visible size of its sun-illuminated halo of gas is irrelevant since it contains very little mass. This is real basic astronomy, which nassim seems totally ignorant of.
