get a spotter like i had for a couple of trys.
and DO the trick or not, dont stop in middle, that will lead to injuries.

When you jump, get your hands as high on the wall without bringing your arms more then 6 inches above shoulder height. Keep your elbows extended and push off with your hands and wrist. Bring your knees to your chest and bring your arms in.
To practice, jump up straight at the wall a few times and push yourself away without flipping. You'll immediately realize that hittingyour head is of little concern.

My only advice is to do it on a flat wall, without a running start. Slanted walls make this move nearly impossible to push away far enough from the wall. Also, a running start is dangerous at first since you tend to catch your feet on the wall due to the momentum. I'd suggest learning it standing first.
You are right. When i trained with Danny Ilabaca he did it sooo easy walking slow to a wall, jumped, pushed and tucked so fast, he landed easily.
There is def. not a running start NEEDED, but i learned it with that. Anyway - Im not a good trickster yet. So it is just a little and non-perfect tutorial.
Damn, i just learned to do a backflip, doubt i'll try this, from your palms? holy hell, good trick :D
