Modeling a foot with basic polygon tools in Maya

you can work with maya in expert mode, all without the GUI's and still create awesome models fast.

in max you need the mod list all the time, putting stacks of it all the while which generates more time, more numbers, more technicalities.

I've worked in maya and max for years now. Hands down Max is FAR easier to model with. Maya is far too fiddly. Too fragmented. PLus. What's cool about max is the shift button which duplicates edges right away. Much less clicking is looking for functions which are all over the place. Animation is king in maya. But modelling? Fuck no.
