Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary - Manor Action

All the other tomb raiders fire the pistols when you hold the fire button, but on anniversary you have to bash the button.

Is there a way to change this?

If not, why did they decided to make it different from all others?

When I was 10 my big brother bought this game after he saw the movie. And when he found his first artifact in the croft manor I asked him "Whats that elephant for Jay Jay?".....Ha, I still call the artifacts Elephants to this day, good times XD

what is the meaning of manor

xxangelflower, there are multiple meanings to the manor.

1) you could consider it as a "bonus" level that is unlocked at the beginning of the game

2) It can help you with platforming skills

3) You can try on outfits without playing a level, if you're in to that sort of thing

4) you can discover many artifacts, like the one at 36 seconds in order to unlock cheat codes, bonus outfits, concept art, commentary, etc.

5) And it's fun to jump around on rocks.

Some people trash Crystal Dynamics engine, but actually it works really good compared to the old Eidos games. I mean, I like the old Eidos games, but really c'mon guys, it was getting pretty out of date huh? Lara needed a new look anyways :)
