  • wow did not know BRAVOMAN was on turbo 16.....

  • @heavysaur Sure is. Bravo...BRAVO.... :) Thanks for watching.

  • I remember this game, I played it in an emulator, but I really never catch the mechanics, well, you have the same opinion, not good nor bad.

  • @condeszadek Yeah....I nudged it a 1/2 star a bit...'cause, I kind of like it (and a lot of people are pretty mean to it). Ha ha. But, yeah. I agree! Thanks for watching!

  • Erm, yeahhhhhhhh.... Truthfully I like Bravoman. Not love, not hate but like which is you know, good. Mainly for it's art style cauz I'm a big fan of the "Made in Japan" games.

Once you honesty shines through Chris, Too bad the EGM reviewers of the 8/16-bit era suffered from the obvious "Game manufacturer freebie" syndrome...

    Oh the humanity!

  • Chris, can you explain how Bravoman managed to earn the same score as JJ and Jeff? (3.5 chips out of 5)

From your reviews it sounded like you enjoyed JJ and Jeff much more than Bravo...??

  • @Ragtime4 Because I reviewed that about three years ago...and really had not "nailed-down" what my rating scale was quite yet. In hindsight, J. J. and Jeff should have definitely received a 4. But, in all fairness, I did say I was "rounding up" the Bravoman rating so, in essence it isn't the same 3 and 1/2 as JJ.

  • Alternate future showing what would happen if megaman failed... xD

    BRAVO shall come xD

That hand shakes of evil doctor... well....um...yeah.

    Anyway, another hilarious review.

  • Wow just wow i like it how horrible the text is in this game.

  • What in gods name is he doing with that staff when he asks if you can 'beat' this? D:

  • irate magnets hahahahahaha

  • Hey! Did anybody else get the Metroid vibe from the soundtrack?

Nevertheless, this game does nothing for me. I wouldn't be interested even if I find cheaper that cheap.

Still, thank for your efforts man.

  • "Welcome to die!" meets "I'll give you death!"

You did a great job on this review... Dare I say it? Bravo!

  • I had this game as a kid. Anybody know what Bravoman says at the beginning of a stage? He sounds like a Caveman with marbles in his mouth. Thanks for telling us about the secret stage too. Never knew about that.

  • nice review, i though you would give it a 3 xD

    Bravo!!!

  • Bravo! I just punched!

    Bravo! I just missed!

    Bravo! I got hit!

    EURGH! I died.

The game looks alright, mr suppah hairdo man looks so stupid, I find it hilarious.

    Great review, as always!

  • Fantastic review again Chris - great humour - loved it! Gotta say this game remains undesirable owing to the clumsy control system and the fairly garish graphics but for 7 minutes there were just jammin' fine!!!

  • Oh no not this game!

  • Thanks for pumping out the reviews here lately. I was getting Turbo Views withdrawal. It'll be both a happy and sad day once the series has reviewed all the games out there for the TG-16, but at least the DVDs will be there to revisit.

  • 0:45 LOL! I think Dr. Bomb is coming onto me.

  • BoBo-Man

  • Another great review Chris

  • Great review as normal Chris. : )

  • Man, I was excited when I saw you did a review of this one. Lots of fun to watch! I love the weirdness of this game. (What, no commentary on Dr. Bomb's constant need to stab the screen and re-introduce himself? He was the "Hi I'm Daisy!" of his generation!) However, I really didn't like this gameplay itself - too frustrating due to the size of the character, the many blind jumps, and the controls felt wonky even with experience.

  • Great show a always Chris! I couldn't stand Bravoman in my younger days lol!

  • I must play this game, just to read more of Dr. Bomb comments, and see all bosses. :) Thank you for another great review, Chris.

  • Great review Chris! I never had the chance to play this one. Happy Halloween!

  • It's Turbo Time once again kids:)

  • So they can bring this game from Japan but not great games like Castlevania or Ninja Gaiden. Games that would have helped Turbo 16 beat Nintendo and Sega. WHAT WAS THEY THINKING!!!!

  • sweet! ive been following you on facebook and have been waiting for this one for a while

  • this has made my day awsome vid dude

  • I really wanted to like this one but yeah, like you said the game over stayed its welcome after level 8 or so.

  • This was an arcade port, i had this, not very good.

  • Hm, and interesting looking one, but I can definitely see where it will probably get repetitive along the way, especially if there are 22 stages!

  • Awesome. I was hoping you'd put the "My hair is modern also" screen into the review :P

  • Aw, Chris, why no Halloween Special? I was hoping you might have done Ghost Manor!

  • Lol! Love that homemade transformers sound xD Awesome review!

  • Mrs. Bravoman must love his ability to stretch his appendages

  • "What is this i dont even....." has never been a more fitting explination in the history of intornetz ever. But thanks for taking one for the team spida1a and reviewing this ummmmm "interesting" game.

  • liked without watching the vid :d

  • I've got to say, as a Pc-Engine gamer I probably wouldn't go after this one, but if I had TG-16 I totally would pick this up for the Engrish alone. Plus it looks quite colorful with some nifty animation frames.

    Great episode, love this show.

  • great review!! its always a pleasure to watch your videos dude! really! i just love that anyone can see that you really enjoy this!!

  • Hey Chris, huge fan of your channel. I played so much Bravoman as a child and I still play it to this day. I was just wondering how far did you make it on Bravoman, because after all these years I can't make it past level 10, and it makes me sick thinking there's 22 gad damn levels.

  • The only way I could describe this review is by the title of the game... BRAVO!!!, Man.

  • So Bravoman was a lost Autobot..LOL

  • I'm surprised you were as kind to this game as you were. I would personally say that I believe the audience for this game is somewhat limited, and therefore any recommendation would be highly conditional.

  • @fruitbane Thanks for watching. :)

  • Awesumm vid, Spida

    <3

"Fool! What are you doing?" hilarity!!

  • @izaurralde Ha ha. It's a silly game. :)

    Thanks!

  • sorry this isn't shubibinman. But I have the Japanese version of this game.

  • @ryanc519 Thanks for watching.

  • A dislike? Chris, you've made it big! You have haters, congragulations :D

  • @katsujinken10 Ha ha. Well......that's awesome. But, check other vids...plenty of people hate me. It's cool! LOL.

    Thanks my friend!!

  • Do the legend of hero tomna, its an great game, its not cheap either

  • @border205 We'll get to it eventually. :)

    thanks for watching.

  • Your videos are always top notch but the editing in this one is FANTASTIC. BRAVO!

  • @TwigsInc Thanks as always!

  • Yep, looks bizarre alright. Good review!

  • @SPac316 Ha ha. VERY.....thanks!

  • Nothing like a new episode of Turbo views. I was hoping you'll upload a video soon. Thanks a lot! I love the Turbo Duo! This system has give me some much enjoyment.

  • I'm so glad to see another Turbo Views. You know I have always seen this game but I never bothered to play it in all these years. I think it's about time I played it. I'm sure I can find it at my local store or online. Thanks for another awesome video Chris. :)

  • Dr Bomb's hair style is a mushroom cloud... perhaps? Yeah weird game alright. I liked it when I was a kid even though I couldn't even get half way through it. I never knew about the continue secret or the boss select though! BRAVO BRAVO. Ulabob is coming!

  • Awesome Review as always, and thanks for giving me a reason to turn on my Wii for something else other then Netflix :-)

  • Ironman, eat your heart out. Bravoman has got you beat.

Great review, spida! I really like the transitions with Bravoman sliding across the screen. lol

  • Nice video as always Spida

  • Bravo sir, Bravo

  • Really surprised this game got translated to the US. It just seems like a japanese only game.

  • I remember having this as a kid. The "Bravo!" sound clip is permanently burned into my brain. I think I can't say the word bravo without saying like that sound clip.

  • Thanks to you Chris, I am now the proud owner of a turbo duo, and boy, I really wish I bought this system instead of the genesis back in the day. The games are just much more appealing to me. I mean cmon, bonk is the man.

  • This was um an Interesting game but in all seriousness, why are games like this brought over to America but with games that we want just stay Japanese Exclusives,,,-sigh-

  • @Kaibaman41 Thanks for watching!

  • @Kaibaman41 My guess? It was cheap to license. (: It all comes down to money in the end, and if the Japanese company was willing to license the game out for peanuts, then why WOULDN'T an American game company want to take them up on it?

So the lesson here is, if you have a mediocre game, don't ask a lot of money for it and it just might go far! Seems to work for a lot of iPhone game developers... ZING!! ;)

  • Yay! New Turboviews!

  • @Deathdealer208 Wohoo! :)

  • jajaja yes :D

  • Bravo!

  • @xcornmuffinx Bravo! Bravo!!!

  • Second!

  • @RiouInsuiko Fourth....

  • @RiouInsuiko Don't worry man. I'll watch the video and enjoy the hell out of it! Your professional style never gets old. :-)

  • @RiouInsuiko But....I wanted to be first! Ha ha.

    Thanks my friend!

  • First!

  • @MattTG16 Third....

  • @spida1a two hundred and twenty four.
