Hello again Carl, you can't beat a bit of Cliff Richard now and then and this one isn't too well known, but I thought it was worth a spin on here ! Thanks for those thumbs up !

    Phil

  • @Bluemoonofmemphis

Hiya Phil, this track has been tucked away on an old ('67) album for long enough,I thought it was time the world heard it ! lol

I'm pleased you enjoyed it Phil, many thanks for all the stars, have an enjoyable week yourself,,cheeers,,Mick :-))

  • @mountain824

Hi Maria, thanks so much for your kind words and stars,I'm happy that you enjoyed this unusual version of the Larry Williams song by Cliff Richard,it's different !

Have a great week yourself !

    Mick :-))

  • @LoneRiderProduction

Ha ha,yes,I have to blow the dust and cobwebs off them first !

This is a track from a long forgotten LP and as far as I can see,it's not already on here,so maybe there's 1000's of people looking for it ! lol

Glad you enjoyed this one from young Cliff Richard,I think he'll go far, cheeers,,Mick

  • @TheManFromUNCLE1100

Ha ha,no I wasn't there amongst the dancers Alan,I can't remember where that clip came from,I've had it years !

Both this song and "Good Golly" were written in 1958,by different people, but I don't know which one came first, one of life's little mysteries Alan !

    Many thanks for those thumbs,,seeya later,,Mick :))

  • Hi Mick -

A great rendition of this classic by Sir Cliff. I like the bluesy flavor it has. Great video clips too. All the stars and thumbs up.

    Rey

  • @CookiesDen2

Hiya Rey,this is certainly different to the Larry Williams original,it's a shame that it was buried on an obscure album in the 60's,it would have made a great single,I think..

I'm really pleased that you enjoyed it Rey,thanks a lot for the stars and thumbs up,,cheeers,,Mick :-))

  • Hi Mick, What a fantastic video & song, this is absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing. Mitch

  • @socrates640

Thanks very much for your really great comments Mitch,I'm happy that you enjoyed Cliff Richard's version of this old rock 'n roll number,,cheeers,,,Mick :-))

  • Great Mick! I didn´t know Cliff had covered this song. Playlisted. Thanks a lot!

    Maggan

  • @Magryd3344

Hiya Maggan,I don't think this is a well known recording by Sir Cliff,it's an album track from 1967 and largely forgotten about !

Thanks for adding to your playlist, much appreciated,,,cheeers,,Mick :))

  • Thanks for posting another song I have never heard before. Great images in the video too. As a little kid, I remember my sister had a couple of Cliff Rchards & the Shadows records. Is he still performing today?

    :)

  • @ValsHere

Hi Val,this song was a big hit in 1958 for Larry Williams, but it was much faster, real rock 'n roll !

Regarding Sir Cliff, yes,he's still performing,at the age of 71 and he is on tour here in the UK during October.

Very many thanks for watching,I'm pleased you enjoyed the video Val,cheeers,,,Mick :))

  • I've never heard this song before Mick. It should be dedicated to my neice Elizabeth. Her nickname is Dizzy Lizzy. haha Another of your great introductions myfriend. Sending thanks and hugs. ♥

  • @weeyin1155

Hiya Jan,this isn't a very well known Cliff Richard track,it's from an old album, but the original rock 'n roll recording of the song by Larry Williams was a big hit,but back in '58 !

I have a niece in Australia called Liz,but I don't think she would like me calling her "Dizzy",ha ha .

Thanks for watching Jan,I'm pleased you enjoyed Sir Cliff's song,,cheeers,,Mick :))
