There are two ways. 1. get a flash drive then copy the disk files to the drive, then on startup, select BIOS go under startup and select har drive. 2. get an external disk reader and use that to install, you can get a good price on those nowadays

Well, I'm convinced. I like it. The one thing I have by this point in watching (14 1/2 minutes in) taken a dislike to is the screen size in ratio to the border to the screen itself. Those are not speakers, right? If they are speakers, ok. If they are not, I wish the lid would have just been smaller than the base. I think a larger screen would have been detrimental to the 800x480 resolution. A larger screen would have made it appear washed out unless it pushed higher res (bat pow, cost). ty 4 rev

the ONLY thing i hate about this pc is that it has a 4gb solid state drive. which means, you wont be downloading any songs, videos, or downloading anything without a huge memory card or a hard drive. But over all, it's a pretty gud pc. Helpful video. =)

I'd suggest using an external mouse. And a USB Hub is 3 isn't enough.

1)MP3 Player.

2)External Mouse.

3)Memory Stick.

The reason the screen is not 'balanced' so it can be laid flat, is that the device was made for kids: the extra plastic around the screen protects it from the 'ruff-and-tumble' of being with children.

It should be judged with this in mind.

Sticking with Linux would have better. Windows XP will kill the longevity of the 32GB Flash Drive. Linux doesn't write to the drive every few seconds like XP does. Also running Windows automatically shaves off 2 hours from your battery charge. Linux is much less power hungry.

Flash memory has a limited number of write/read cycles right? and Windows XP reads and writes to the disc aproxamatly every two seconds. wouldnt this severly limit the life of the solid state drive?

The only thing to REMIND is: ALWAYS remove battery BEFORE changing or upgrading RAM, because the logical connection with pc will fail.

The result is a crazy battery that can't understand how much charge have.
