From what I can make out, your not missing much. Typical Stuff, "Phil Dick the Sci-Fi author, talk about the break in incident, talk about topics brought up in his books." But I really cant keep up to this, so I may be wrong.

Phil thought that the French loved Ubik because it made no sense at all. lol

Yeah. He also said that he wrote Ubik autmoatically since he had a writer's block. Typical of the french to find some kind of trancedental meaning in such book, although an interesting book.

I don't want Baudrillard to mix with my PKD, thanks.

I'm with the French on this one. I've read about half of PKD's novels and Ubik is the one that freaks me out the most, reality-check wise. That book is a total mental-mindf***.
