@MrLesbian that was told to me by some ''rc shop owner'' , he said that you needed that because its just like a real car, you need some sort of ''MOT'' for it, so it can be used safely for you and others... but i very highly doubt that...

To prevent tire ballooning. Works great when I do that to my nitro truck. So figured same deal here.

The duct tape is actually on the tire. Not the foam.
