The name of the song is "Court and Spark." The is on the Joni Mitchell album of the same name, ca. 1974. These guys have an amazing way of dealing with Joni's incredibly individual music.
Oh My.... Astonishing. Beautiful intro, great development of the piece. All the solos are transcendent. What a superb evocation of the lyrics. It's an evocation of all the turbulence and sense of wonder of falling in love, and all the troubling feelings that come with it. I can't help but think Joni must appreciate this rendition. Norah does her part with the requisite modern Pop touches, but overall it sounds real to me.
Listening to these folks, especially Wayne behind Norah, wailing his tail off, could, if you are not careful, lead to your panties hitting the floor and goofy grins pasting all over your face.

I remember watching Kanye West badly praying hoping to win the 2008 album of the year grammy award but was beaten by this album

@islandwarrior16 Which is hilarious since Kanye is so out of Herbie Hancocks leaque musicwise.

Wayne Shorter is the man. And Norah has an amazing voice. I wish she and Herbie would release a record together.
