All seem like fine replicas but if you don't install a stroked 427 small Ford block, a 428CJ or a 427 side oiler in this little missile and presume to fly the 427 SC logo... it is just decoration and will always be worth less than you paid someone to create it for you. Most have probably also not gone the extra mile with the installation of a Jag style rearend, independent suspension and inboard brakes. Let alone the bastardized freaks that pretend to the throne. Chevy's, 5.0 EFI pretenders. UGH

i've been in a ferrari, lamborghini, viper, m5, aston, all kinds of muscle cars, etc., and none of them give the sensory overload of a cobra; the head snap acceleration, the roar of those sidepipes, the smell of tire smoke, the perfect lines of the body. speed and power in the absolute raw. if i had to pick the closest, it's a viper. and, if you want to do one of these replicas the right way, count on spending 50k.

Carols twin supercharged 67 exact to spec all original Cobra Super Snake went for 5.5 million. On the other hand, you can get a replica like these for 19k complete or 12k do it yourself. A super deal on a good 427 will be around 5 thousand Off Craigs. This doesnt include any extras like intake, exhaust, suspension, trani, or the rest (for 12k)

@GTRaycer It's not technology that makes the ZR1 a better handler, it's just better suspension setup for that purpose. Most cobras were designed for handling but more of a nascar-type instead of a tight racing circuit. You CAN make a cobra with independent rear suspension that can outhandle a ZR1 though...but it takes work.

What i'am gonna do, for now i'am 20, i'am gonna spare money for parts, tools and such, not wasting anything i can afford to spare, not getting girlfriends(they cost mostly), work early, spare what i can, so i can build me an Cobra with a 427 engine, aluminium body, i think i take classic blue paint with white stripes, or black or red, nice colours, i will take sporty leather seats, painted wood panel with cromed gauges, alu block to decrease weight and alot of other stuff, just w8 and see :)

Just enjoy what everything , spare some for your car and build it up slowly , as a past time/enjoyment it will be much more rewarding since you wont miss out on live. + Since your 20 im guessing still in Uni/thinking of it / trying/ want to .. etc. After finishing you can get a job witch pays more and you can do it faster or even buy a made one. Wasting? Well one of the main reasons i would want to accomplish something like this before many other things is, for example, if you get a wife, mostly(not always but mostly) you get kids(not always)you will probubly have to wait some years to have time left for hobbies since, expecily kids, takes alot of times, many car enthusiasts gets wife and kids and leave their hobbies(more or less), they simply don't have time with it, in most cases. I won't let that happen if i want to enjoy life :)

Well, one of the main reasons i'd like to build one so early, is because there is possible there will come new laws restricting the use and/or building of classic cars like the Cobras, cause they are ''dangerous to the envoriment'' in their veiws, i feel it's better to try complete Some dreams that might not be restricted in the future, it might not happen, or it might, but i don't go around being nerveous about that :)
