I'd take out the 16" rack tom coz it'd get in the way of where I'd want the ride cymbal. But apart from that and a few minor positional adjustments it'd be my dream kit. Amazing kit! Love the boom the sonor toms produce. Very musical.
@unlikeanyotherhuman Hi there ... yeah you are right... but Nicko plays a single Bassdrum Setup. Saw him several times live at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt. Amazing what he does with two feet at one pedal. *gg* ;O)
Nicko played on the "World Piece Tour" 1983 a white Phonic Plus kit.
1984-85 he played a Phonic Plus kit with concert toms in metallic silver.
1986 ("Somewhere in time") he played a Phonic Plus Hi-Tech kit. (I owned such a rare Hi Tech kit too: 6"-16" TT, 2 x 24" BD, 16" + 18" FLT with matching snare!)
1988 - 1993 he played a white Signature kit (the same series you see in my video, only in another finish called "Bubinga").
1993 Nicko saidly changed his endorsement to PREMIER!
Ok thanks for info. Nicko play with only a single bass drum not like this one. I don't know why? A weird way of heavy metal drummers but he could play it like a double pedal drums sounds. Such a great techniques of him.
I am playing in an "oldschool-hardrock" tribute band with only a few, rare gigs in the year. Most we play on birthday (>35 years) parties. Just for fun! To my mind you´ve got there the best audience, because these people love this kind of music: we are playing songs from Whitesnake/Rainbow/Dio/Van Halen etc.
That's a nice kit, but I can't believe Sonor still has there tom mounting hardware directly mounted on the shell and tom holders mounted on the kick drums!
I hope somebody is strong enough to carry the "tons" of heavy wood and metal!!!
I had a double-bass signature kit myself, a few years ago. Great sound, but I was glad when I sold it. If you have to carry and build it up a few times, the weight is killing you!!!

Für meinen Geschmack eindeutig zu wenig Becken :D
Einziges Manko wäre für mich die Aufhängung der Toms. Aber insgesamt sehr schöner Aufbau. Damit lässt sich viel anstellen. Genau wie ich's mag ;)

You are right! Nicko got an unique technique to play such bass drum figures with only one single pedal!
He is one of my all time favorite drummer and I would give a lot of money to visit one clinic of him!

They can keep the hype over DW. This is probably the greatest wood kit ever made. Pure power and knockout looks. Great hardware too. It is ART.

Simply the greatest kit I've ever seen, too bad we couldn't hear it. But seeing as its a private "collector" maybe that explains it.
Has my bronze snare but no matching copper snare stand? The shame.
Incredible
