  • I'd take out the 16" rack tom coz it'd get in the way of where I'd want the ride cymbal. But apart from that and a few minor positional adjustments it'd be my dream kit. Amazing kit! Love the boom the sonor toms produce. Very musical.

  • The buttrock was a nice touch!

  • Fucking incredible

  • I play an original Sonor Signature kit LOVE IT!

  • Nadamas falta poner a Ingo Schwichtenberg para hacerla sonar al ritmo del Power Metal \m/

  • :p I joke. Crazy kit man.

  • Do you think he's compensating for something?

  • im sorry but you've been beaten by terry bozzio. only difference is your probably a better player lol

  • @unlikeanyotherhuman Hi there ... yeah you are right... but Nicko plays a single Bassdrum Setup. Saw him several times live at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt. Amazing what he does with two feet at one pedal. *gg* ;O)

  • What's the song??

  • OMG those are deep :|

  • it's not all paiste signature

there is one 2002 heavy hi hat 14''

  • @kerpeler

Ha, ha, you have good eyes my friend! But it´s a 13" hi hat ;-)

  • talk about deep shell configuration!!!!!!!

  • the band is deep purple

  • @gjbfn

The original song is from Deep Purple. Here it is performed by Whitesanke.

  • @Sonorworld and the song is?

  • What is this song???

  • @Parduc09

Song is 'Burn' which was originally done by Deep Purple

  • is that modeled on the Chester Thompson Genesis Touring Kit 1977 ?

  • @mineheadX1

I am sorry, but I don´t know anything about C.T.´s set up in 1977...so he was no inspiration for my set up.

  • How much was this kit

  • @matt14900

    For drums/hardware/cymbals/snare: circa 15.000 EUR.

  • salut je joue sur une sonor signature bubinga. GC:22---CC14/8 bois ou metal---TOM 14/14 et TOM BASS 16/16. La sonor signature est pour moi la meilleure batterie jamais construite

  • I'm not a drummer and I want to ask you is it the same drums kit that was played by Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden during 80s?

  • @cassavaeater

Nicko played on the "World Piece Tour" 1983 a white Phonic Plus kit.

1984-85 he played a Phonic Plus kit with concert toms in metallic silver.

1986 ("Somewhere in time") he played a Phonic Plus Hi-Tech kit. (I owned such a rare Hi Tech kit too: 6"-16" TT, 2 x 24" BD, 16" + 18" FLT with matching snare!)

1988 - 1993 he played a white Signature kit (the same series you see in my video, only in another finish called "Bubinga").

1993 Nicko saidly changed his endorsement to PREMIER!

  • @Sonorworld

Ok thanks for info. Nicko play with only a single bass drum not like this one. I don't know why? A weird way of heavy metal drummers but he could play it like a double pedal drums sounds. Such a great techniques of him.

  • @cassavaeater

You are right! Nicko got an unique technique to play such bass drum figures with only one single pedal!

He is one of my all time favorite drummer and I would give a lot of money to visit one clinic of him!

    Greets!

  • @Sonorworld

what kind of music are you playing on? I used to play some metal or hard rock songs but that's just for a hobby and occasionaly. I play bass.

  • @cassavaeater

I am playing in an "oldschool-hardrock" tribute band with only a few, rare gigs in the year. Most we play on birthday (>35 years) parties. Just for fun! To my mind you´ve got there the best audience, because these people love this kind of music: we are playing songs from Whitesnake/Rainbow/Dio/Van Halen etc.

  • @Sonorworld

same here..just for fun. not for making money :D

  • Eric Carr would loved this :D

  • I love it and I love the old Sonor Signature lugs, the Bubinga is beautiful!

  • Holy...

  • the best drum kit ever made!!!

  • That's a nice kit, but I can't believe Sonor still has there tom mounting hardware directly mounted on the shell and tom holders mounted on the kick drums!

  • Some of the cymbals are almost vertical.. That's just a show-off set. Not the best drum kit ever.

  • @BertRunars

You´re right! This set up was only for the pictures!

But you can believe me: it´s THE BEST DRUM KIT EVER!

    Greets

  • I'd give an arm and a leg for that kit... wait? I need that for drumming XD

  • i want it.. how much :D

  • @idriell

10.000€ for the shell set + all the Signature hardware you need for this set up!

Set is in near mint condition. No players set!

    Greets

  • @Sonorworld Im wanting to know more info about purchasing the complete set, please let me know who to contact,Thank you

  • Oh Dios mio creo que me orine de la impresion de ver tan hermosa Bateria

  • @blestdrummer

    Sorry, but I can´t understand...!?

  • @Sonorworld Oh my God I think I urinate to see such beautiful Drums

  • They can keep the hype over DW. This is probably the greatest wood kit ever made. Pure power and knockout looks. Great hardware too. It is ART.

  • Simply the greatest kit I've ever seen, too bad we couldn't hear it. But seeing as its a private "collector" maybe that explains it.

Has my bronze snare but no matching copper snare stand? The shame.

    Incredible

  • I hope somebody is strong enough to carry the "tons" of heavy wood and metal!!!

I had a double-bass signature kit myself, a few years ago. Great sound, but I was glad when I sold it. If you have to carry and build it up a few times, the weight is killing you!!!

  • first song rocks

  • OMFG!

  • The original tracks are from Deep Purple, Burn, and Stormbringer..

  • which song is this?

    i think guns n roses, but i can't remember...

  • Even bigger then my Signature Kit

    Wow

  • HOLY SHIT!!! AWESOME Simply AWESOME!!!

  • Glad I'm not your roadie.....

  • I'd give a nut for that

  • I'd give BOTH!!! ha ha ha Sweet Kit!!!!!!!!!!!
