It's called mulesing people.. Where the sheep have chunks cut out of their hides.. It's for the benefit of the sheep.. I mean, would you like to have flies and maggots crawling around under your skin eating away at you? Do you realise how painful that would be? The wool is sheared in australia, which doesn't really involve cutting the sheep to pieces or whatever. As for the other stuff where they ship them off. that's past the getting of the wool stage. It's awful, but yea.

@colleenp08 nearly all vets and shelters put down dogs due to people who do not adopt, breed, nor spay and neuter pets. So lets place blame on them and not those trying to deal with the issue. 10000s of shelter pets are put down across the country, its not the shelters and vets fault either.

Anyways, its not about peta, they do lots of good, although I dont agree with all. I support (volunteer and donate) VeganOutreach (dot) org and MFA.
