Fantastic tips, Janine! Who would dislike this video??? (A self-serving moron troll.) Where I live, we have 3 separate trash cans - garbage, yard waste & recylables. Drives me nuts when I think about how my neighbors put all 3 bins out when they're not full, wasting the diesel of the truck to make the stop. They're all supposedly "eco-friendly" liberals, too! Ha! I call myself a "conservative who actually conserves." I do my own composting, too. Smart video! Keep up the good work!
@Soaptivated Thank You! I have a long ways to go before I can call myself eco-friendly, but I won't stop striving. :0)
As for the Dislike....awww, I just figure A. I'm either doing something really right and pissing someone off, B. Someone just really doesn't like my video or C. (most likely) just a random troll having fun. In any case, it doesn't really bother me. ;0)
@WS Yeah...no one does it perfectly. It's about direction, not perfection. One either has a concern for future generations or they only care about themselves & the here & now. I've never had to buy any bubble wrap, but I have a whole stash of it & use it to send or store fragile things. At least bubble wrap is a thin plastic & wouldn't take a 1,000 years to break down, as would a plastic fork. I hate those, but I put them in my daughter's lunch & she brings them home for me to wash & reuse.
@WickedScentuals I think the "dislike" is just some contentious bonehead who has nothing better to do or hasn't the umm...shall we say, "testicular fortitude" to post why they don't like it. Either way, you ARE doing something right! Press on, girlfriend!
I saw some one wrap a strip of bubble wrap around there canning jars on shelfs. When I ship my composting worms I reuse cardboard egg cartons. the good thing is everything I ship it in can be feed to the worms. Even the lawn fabric I bag the worms in can be used in the bottom of a planter. It feels so good to recycle. Good Job.
