  • Olympic sport? Football is not a sport of any kind! Imagine: the ball is in play for 11 minutes out of an hour (Which takes three hours to play!) so what with Offense and Defense and special teams these so-called athletes may play about 5 minutes out of an hour! JOKE! Few of them could play Rugby and almost none of them could play Aussie Rules!

  • here's my two cents

"Who Dat say gonna beat dem Saints Who Dat"

  • @elcubanito1700 My 49ers :)

  • @NJNC12 I tip my hat to the 49ers and I wish y'all luck against the giants

  • hilarious! ...people are taking this seriously?

  • This has to be a joke. "That makes it even easier right?"

  • FOOTBALL OLYMIC SPORT -ARGENTINA..!!

  • Make Football An Olympic Sport - Ups from Brazil!

  • this is waste

The only people that play american football are americans... some canadians.. and pockets here and there in Europe

So really, who are we facilitating here? the americans. Other countries cannot afford the equipment necessary to play american fb

Add American football so just American can take a gold in their "beloved" sport that nobody else gives a fuck about? no thank you

  • @Ll4manator basketball made it to the olympics. america has almost every gold medal.

  • what is this... i dont even

  • I honestly cant tell if he's joking or being serious. Hey Peyton, why won't you stop choking in the playoffs and win a superbowl or 2 more before thinking about a meaningless medal

  • @jasxon88 he already won a super bowl

  • @gusg1982 Yes, I know. PPL need stop calling him GOAT when Montana has 4 rings, Elway made 5 appearances(2 strong finishing wins) and his playoff record is 9-10. As for his superbowl win, I'm not sure if it's an accomplishment if you're playing against Rex Grossman

  • Only beef I have with this game is the whole 'World Champions' title for winning the superbowl, same for baseball.

Like come get a grip...other than that love the game itself, can't wait for this shit preseason to finish.

  • it'll never happen, NFL athletes are too fucking scared to get hurt...

  • Why are eurofags always butt hurt when the country who kicked their asses out of the top spot in the world, have something great we created, and you all reject it. 2nd place is bitter ain't it even if the US is falling to China

  • Football already IS an Olympic sport you douche. It's your AMERICAN football that isn't. Completely bogus I know... hahahahahaha

  • @hamishpotts you are right the pussy version of football is an olympic sport the world will not embrace the awesome football (American) because you all didnt think of it first and are mad at its name why are you even watching this to hate on surely your not trolling (=

  • bahahahahahaa "You may say that many countries don't play football, but that makes it even easier. Right?" yah that sounds about right...

  • hahaha remeber the time when the us was the best at baseball because nobody else played it now its in 4th place in the world rankings wouldn't be surprised if it happened with football and with basketball other countries are starting to catch up might take a while

  • @tejasrod actually US was the top countries but Cuba was always ranked higher than the US in baseball and they still are

  • Japan has football but they would all die in one play against our NFL players.

  • America would win every time even if the other teams had preperation.

  • Other countries don't play football because football is an expensive sport! that's why most foreign countries play soccer. All you need is a ball and something to kick past, as appose to $ 800- 1000 for 1 person for all protective equipment. Oh and even if football was in Olympic sport we get schooled by Hawaiians, Tianjin's and Samoans

  • Why are they playing the British national anthem lol!!

  • We'd score like 100 points on every country we faced before the half was over. It wouldnt be fair at all. Manning for President though!

  • God save our gracious Queen, long live our noble Queen, God save the Queen. Send her victorious, happy and glorious, long to reign over us, God save the Queen!

LOL but yeah make American Football an Olympic Sport!

  • Hasnt a hope in hell ,i love american football but its largely a minority sport outside of america the closest sport to it internationally is rugby union which is played worldwide but particularly by France,Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina so i think if theres one sport that could justify becoming an olympic sport it aint american football

  • It far to complex of a sport to play for small, undeveloped, uneducated dependent countries... Like nearly all but a few countries outside of the US...

  • ok. ^ im pretty sure this is a sarcasic video. sorry you dont get that?

  • Is this for real? Are there actually Americans who think american football has a snowball's chance in hell of becoming an olympic sport? I'm sorry to break it to you but your game has no international appeal.

  • lolololololol, U.S.A. for WORLD CUP 2014 <3

  • Football isn't an Olympic sport because there aren't any international rules. Canada and NFL though the games are similar have very different rules. The arena league is very different. Europe has rugby, Australia has whatever they have over there. Japan is similar to american football, but I mean there's not real rules. If it was an Olympic sport, all countries and leagues would have to adapt more to a centralized rule system.

  • If it happens then the biggest rivals would hav 2 b cfl and NFL

  • it wouldnt be fair to other countries

we would whoop that ass so BAD

  • I can't tell if he's serious or not

  • football could be olym sport if only the games were 2months instead of 2 weeks. unless only 3 countries enter competition and they would all medal. maybe iceland will enter and they can have have a game in a dome thats 10 below zero. that would be cool. LOL!

  • While some football players are bigger that does not mean they are in better physical condition than a soccer player. Who has more "endurance" of both? Without a question the soccer player does. Does anybody actually thinks a 300lbs football player or any other football player for that matter will be able to run the entire field (without stopping) for the duration of a soccer game?

  • @mgcc0911 running the whole field for the duration of the game? its mostly jogging around for a while with an occasional sprint then flops and pauses in the game... but besides that yes i do. even the bigger guys are in tremendous shape.. ignorant ass

  • @mgcc0911 Those line backers, receivers and running backs are some of the fastest people in the world - they are in fact faster than olympic sprinters inside of 40 yards I do believe.

  • @metalmike83 nope, if you suited up a sprinter with full pads then yep I'd say they'd be out of their comfort zone and maybe lose the 40 yard dash.

  • I can't tell if he's serious or not. What is the value of a medal that you received for playing against countries that don't even play this sport? You would run over them before the first quarter was over..I can't see anyone even willing to compete with Americans at football...why not just ask that they give you the gold medal for free. It would be just as much of a challenge for you to casually receive it in the mail as it would for you to beat say..Canada at football.

  • soccer and rugby arent sports lol

  • Was this supposed to be funny? Cause I'm dying of laughter xD

  • While I would welcome this, it'd be so impractical. What other country would have a chance to beat the American team? How many other countries would even be able to field a team?

  • If you cant figure out why the rest of the world is puzzled about America's love for handball.. sorry football, here is one perspective:

    watch?v=2sD_8prYOxo

  • i always say if its not in the olympics then its not a sport but im a REALLY BIG colts fan and football is a sport ..i bet more people would watch the olympics if football was in it!

  • I'm European and I would love to see football in the Olympics. Just imagine those Asian teams o.o

  • @matemanos12

Funny.. because you Europeans get your ass handed down by Africans in this sport.

  • @BestestMoron Lol what? Here is me complimenting football then...lol w/e

  • Here in Mexico we play American Football, make it an olympic sport!

  • It would be fun to watch superstars in the nfl participating in international olympic diplomacy by schooling the rest of the world in our beloved football however I just don't see the other countries embracing the idea because they have rugby which is another badass full contact sport and they have soccer which they enjoy schooling us Americans in when we cross the pond. But ya never know anythings possible!

  • no chance

  • I don't understand how people who like soccer make fun of American football lol. It's so much cooler.

  • @MrSneakAtttack

yup.. 4 sec of intense action followed by 10 sec of beer commercial... who would want to watch 45 min of uninterrupted sport (soccer) when you can watch a game played like a series of advertisements?!?

  • @BestestMoron Whatever i always sucked at soccer but was good at football so thats prolly why lol

  • Is this a joke? I can't tell...

American Football will never be an Olympic sport - hell, even baseball and softball were given the boot by the committee and they're played in far more countries around the world.

P.S. I like how they're playing 'My Country 'Tis of Thee in the background, though as an instrumental the rest of the world would associate it with 'God Save the Queen.'

  • @jhille85 America hater much? look you can hate our government and everything, but dont disrespect our culture. You should be flattered at the fact we choose to incorporate your own culture into ours. theres a lot of us over here that love soccer, but if yall keep throwin us down and makin fun of our other sports, it wont make things better, americans will simply think soccer fans and rugby fans are a bunch of assholes. quit being a douche for once in your life.

  • @Nick22pr

WoW... associate "football" with culture, freedom and patriotism and associate not liking the sport that is played as a series of advertisements with America hating & terrorism.... brilliant.

  • @jhille85 Well we Americans like our sports, don't like it? Tough shit dickweed. Oh and I think most of us already know where that song came from. Piss off and stop your America hating.

  • @LeoRooDrog @LeoRooDrog If by "fat man" you mean "man who could knock me flying 15 yards if he hit me," then yes, you're right. Besides, have you seen some of the powerlifters in the olympics? Much bigger guts than any guy in football. Look, I love rugby, and the guys that play it are tough, but having played both sports I can tell you that a clean, straight hit by a defensive end in football hurts alot more than any rugby hit. Respect for both sports.

  • @LeoRooDrog your just jealous of my awesome comeback thats probably true

  • 22 Europen Cuntry has got American Football team USA, Mexico , Japan, Canada ,Australia and New Zeland got too. So whats the problem with olimpic games?

  • Easy:Gridiron football, yes. AMERICAN football? No. Let me explain. The game outside the US has been greatly modified to fit the needs of the new markets. Our players and fans couldn't take all that stopping and starting, and 2 hours of beer ads. They'd be bored to sleep. So the rules have been tweaked a bit almost everywhere it has been introduced. That hasn't helped the popularity that much, but I believe if the game was introduced with these rules, the American team would be crushed to bits.

  • @LeoRooDrog football is not boring in the least

  • @LeoRooDrog im guessing youre a pissed off soccer player that didnt quite make the fooball team

  • @LeoRooDrog football has the fastest athletes of any sport, you dumb fuck

  • @mmaarrkkoodd1990 I think Usain Bolt might have something to say about

  • @Bcolly As an avid football fan...nice response :-)

  • american football in the olympics? LOLOL!! why can't americans and canadians face the facts: no one outside those two countries likes the sport nearly as much as you. and besides, rugby is on the olympic sched for 2016, a much better alternative that seeing a sport with soooo many commercials, timeouts, two minute warnings, referees talking to the crowd, replays, and more stoppages. football players can afford to be bigger than rugby players because of all the downtime in a football game

  • This will never happen. There is a reason the rest of the world call it "american football"

  • @rickys162 the reason is because nobody else in the world could come up with such an amazing sport as footballbut an american

  • @TMegS1414 I dont understand why you felt the need to tell me this but thanks anyway

  • haha theyre jus mad because america is da best country in da world, we're da best at nearly everything so they dont want us killing them at another sport haha, america rules!!!!!

  • @LeoRooDrog

ok. let's kick out lifters and throwers then.

  • You know what the problem is Peyton ?Very easy i am Portuguese and i would love that that happened the only problem is that unfortunately outside the USA soccer is the King probably less than 1/3 of the world outside the USA likes the sport but still there is no way it will be an Olympic Sport because there is no interest and no material that make the sport enjoyable. If it was an Olympic sport it would only be like between like 6 countries and the final would always be USA VS another country.

  • I was the 19155th person to sign. Just go to weplay.com, You don't have to sing up for anything you just put down your name and what state. Simple as that. Sign, for Peyton Manning

  • And how does that make it easier? Is he retarded for real?

  • @DaggerThroatFuck cause if all the other countries dont already play then Peyton and the rest of the best of the league will crumble them like if they were the Detroit Lions!

  • Hahaha OMG. The americans world is sooo small. I feel sorry for them. Nobody cares about american football.

synchronized swimming is in the olympics, american football is not. That should tell you how smalllll your sport is on this planet.

  • @DaggerThroatFuck American football is already an international sport. Its like FIFA world cup but its called IFAF world cup. Same thing with American basketball, its FIBA

  • @DaggerThroatFuck over 2 million high schools kids in america play football but its just a tiny sport

  • If it did become an olympic sport, would NFL players participate or would it be college football?

  • @LeoRooDrog Shut up you limey suckin bastard. AMERICA RULES

  • Actually it wouldn't matter if it was an Olympic sport. The Americans would be the only ones that would show up, and like they do with their super bowl, they can declare themselves "world champions." Nobody cares.

  • its so dumb dat dey dont have it as an olympic sport

  • the us team would destory every single european team :)

  • Every countrie in europe plays it!!!

  • FOOTBALL is already an Olympic sport.......The one that's played with your feet and a ball, unlike the sport that Manning plays with his hands and a ????(watermelon maybe?)

  • @sakis007 you fucking stupid

that sport has a name and its SOCCER durrrrr

  • @sakis007 No a football dumbass. A watermelon is a fruit you eat.

  • not an olympic sport because all of the other countries know we would absolutely dominate them in football

  • @shootaglock futbol is how its spell

  • I unno the states would win it all the time.

  • a joke, right?

  • Make downhill mountain bike racing an olympic sport!!!!!

  • lol no point NFL will beat anyones ass

  • @DonGames360 There's nobody to beat in the first place because the rest of the world just doesn't play it.

  • @macnos Canada, Europe, Mexcio, Samoans(i dont know if thats a country or city) I think there is a small league in dominican. and i'm pretty sure there are others we dont know about. lets get them in the olympics!

  • @wanderlei85 All the countries you mentioned probably do have some football but what you fail to understand is that just because the sport is present in those places does not mean its popular. Football is not the most popular sport in any of the countries you just mentioned compare that to soccer which is so popular in so many countries it is referred to as the world's game. Football is present in a lot of places outside the US but there is little interest, that's a fact.

  • football has come to hong kong

  • listen guys i think this is a joke maybe dont get too emotional about it cause its not goin to happen anyway...this guy is the greatest QB in the last 20 years no doubt

  • need to make bowling an olympic sport first!!!!

  • @stormchaser11 bowling is an ACTIVITY not a sport my friend

  • @familyswim20 Thats your opinion...but in that context, you could call any SPORT an activity. It may not be as active as football, but I can tell you, it does takes strength and precision. It also takes alot of skill to be good at any sport, and that includes bowling. Im curious....what,by defintion, would you call a sport?

  • The thnig is that because football is only really sponsored and famous in the USA all amaericans think that only there they play football, and a lot of people in other countries to, as football it´s not very supported in many countries it is very hard to make a real competition, but it doesn´t means that football is not practiced all over the world, amateur or professioallly...Anyway if the olympic dream comes true, I don´t really see another country winning gold medal but USA :P...

  • why would anyone want to make football an olympic sport. obviously the countries that don't play won't want it cause they can't play and the us and canada shouldn't want it cause what's the big deal with winning against no competition.

  • ill sighn up

  • hahahahahaha, never gonna happen!

  • I wish football was an olypic sport. the only thing is is that we and maybe canada is the only countries that play FOOTBALL. the others would have to learn everything about it. BUT WE WOULD KKICK ASS WIH HIM A RB AND CJ2K at RB

  • @gangsta4lifeman i'm brazilian and i play football. football in brazil is growing very fast. we already play full pads and there are a lot of teams around the country. of course we aren't yet at the same level of usa and canada but i think that in a few years we can get very close.

  • Football won't be an olympic sport cause we all know America would kick everyones ass

  • kinda like we do in basketball, huh? Lol

  • @olakunde greece beat the usa in the basketball world cup a few years ago and they only have a population of 9 million compared to usa population of 305 million. it just goes to show that usa are nothing great

  • You can't win them all, but it doesn't mean we're still not the best. We have more medals than any other country. The USA is absolutely something great.

  • look at your population and look at australia they only have 20 milllion people and always finish in the top 10. that is what you call i good overall sports nation. usa out number australia 15 to 1.

  • idiot he fucked up in the superbowl now he wants to make it an olympic sport. come to reality mate the icc is not ganna put a sport that only one country plays in the olympics. whats it ganna be american all stars1 vs american all stars 2. sounds just like a cheap way to win a gold medal. if they make that an olympic sport they should make wanking one also at least the world can get involved.

  • realistically even if you can get enough countries to play in the olympics all eyes would be on america's football team. honestly i would not want any of my favorite players to get hurt, i'm sure nfl owners would feel the same. so you either have no name players representing the states or you have professional players playing like it's the probowl (a joke imho) the concept of football in the olympics wouldn't last long.

  • what if the nfl superstars were taught rugby? im sure it translates well. same basic concept, u cant deny that ray lewis would still put a nice lickin on anyone, with or without pads..god i can only imagine..the best nfl stars running a mess on the rugby field..They would be a great contender against the all blacks..lewis, willis, urlacher, revis, polamalu, stephen jackson, adrian peterson, chrs johnson, vernon davis.throw in some 320lb dt's or olinemen for good measure :) done

  • @seeno88 What if the rugby stars are taught how to play football?...

  • @mlbc17 agreed no country can come close to beating America in football

  • ur so right

  • Pretty stupid to make this an olympic sport, as nothing would be able to even come close to beating the NFL allstars.

  • The Samoans have somewhat of a chance. They got some damn good players from Samoa.

  • I only know of Canada and us that plays American Football....hmmm this is interesting

  • haha shpread the word

  • im from argentina and i wish we played american football here :(

  • it would be so cool if Football was worldwide, America would kick some butt with Manning and other legends!!!

  • Alright let's get this straight..if you put together an all star team of rugby players vs players from the NFL the refs would have to call off the game early the NFL players would beat they're asses so bad

  • i would be ireland's number 1 qb and i would torcher america's defence with td passes its not as easy as peyton thinks it could be

  • Why not? As I understand it America and Canada play, and there are probably a few European countries that could be minnows... it'd be fun to watch as well. I mean, BMX is an olympic sport now... although I'd like to see rugby in there before american football

  • well, rugby sevens is now an olympic sport

  • yah man exacly so there should be at least nfl in the olympics

  • @HauoraRock Id sure like to see the claymores back

  • @HauoraRock they need to add rugby yea, but there was a European league at one point. I don't see why it wouldn't work. besides, a lot of rugby players could go and play football 2.

  • I'm brazilian and I play football

  • @manocool09 wrong football.

  • no man, i play what u call football, not soccer

  • Soccer is boring! besides how is the olympics not boring

  • this is the worst idea ever it would be america vs like 5 goal kickers from other countries

  • not gonna happen for a lot of years

  • the problem is what countries can be there opponents?

  • and i am a proud American!"

  • Peyton Manning - i love foot ball, because i am here to play football and that's because i love football!

  • LOL Europe has no interest in american football hence the name... he only wants it to be an olympic sport because all you yanks are crap at football (soccer) and cry when you get knocked out of the world cup!! Haha big babies

  • Europe has no interest

Thats why every year the NFL has a game in europe and wembley stadium is sold out

They go crazy for NFL football

    get a clue

  • I love the guy, he could be kidding, and I would still agree with him.

    Hate the Colts, love Peyton.

  • I like how he is systematically deleting all the posts that basically prove how wrong he is. Way to go.

  • Apparently it is beyond most of your very thick skulls to realize that when an Olympic sport is added, the sport is not played the very next Olympics. They give upwards of 10 years for each team to prepare and field a team. It isn't like we're going to say 'YOU HAVE ONE YEAR TO FIELD, TRAIN, AND DEVELOP A TEAM SO WE CAN WIN MUHAHAHAHAHAH'. Bunch of useless kids.

  • Comment removed

  • IS this for real. That would never happen. well first of all didn't they just retire the european football league and second of all how would that be even close to fair to be playing the US in the olympics at FOOTBALL. hahaah it's like having Mongolia vs USA I wonder who would win???

  • The NFL europe when it was around was made up of mostly all americans lol

Thats my point.....it's americans who went to europe to play pro football

The CFL..Canadain football league...is mostly all americans

understand my point ? lol nobody seems to understand

only canada could field a team and the states would beat them 91-7

  • @oleggorlachev Mongolia has won two gold medals ever, at that was back in 2008. Mongolia can't play against anyone very well to begin with.

  • UMM that was his point Razz

the states in american tackle football would make any country they play look like Mongolia

  • Thanks to at least someone who understood what i said.

Sheesh i don't understand why everyone that comments is always trying to be a smart ass. I DON'T GIVE A SHIT HOW MANY MEDALS THEY FUCKIN WON.

  • Stop repeating the same disproved statements over and over. I've never contested whether Americans played in CFL or NFL Europa or not, but I contested your blatant lie that only 2% of all NFL players are European and that ALL of them are Kickers or Punters.

If a country can field a Rugby team, they can field a Football team; do you not comprehend just how alike the two are? American Football is BASED off of Rugby, with the addition of pads and set player positions.

  • Europeans dont play in the NFL....Thats a fact and they few that you can find are KICKERS....This is a FACT..

Rugby and tackle football is way different

you cant take 60 rugby players from england and put them up against 60 of the best america has to offer

    it would be a bloodbath

They dont take tackle football serious in england...they arent playing the game at age 4 like the states

tackle football isnt a international game

is this so hard to grasp ???

  • @ColdDish1 You can't say that Rugby players with pads and knowledge of the game wouldn't hold their own against an American team, it's simple scientific method. You have made a hypothesis and a conclusion, but with no experimenting inbetween. Until you produce a list of every European that has played in the NFL, all your statements about them only being Kickers (or punters) is invalid.

You are a sad, sad person.

  • you keep saying the same thing over and over

you can't just convert a rugby player to tackle football lol how would england even form a offensive/defensive line ? you think they could find 12 guys in the 6'6 310 pound range with experience in tackle football and could go against American NFL offensive/defensive lineman who have been doing it since high school..now all the techniques

and you 7-8 more countries who could do the same lol lol

    not happening razz.

  • LOL i suggest you google Jonah Lomu i know hes Oceania but still, he would destroy the likes of your very best blockers!! As would Martin Johnson and Luger... Goodbye Usa pad wearin girls!!

  • They arm tackle in rugby

They dont hit like they do in the NFL

And rugby players dont have near the size, strength, or athletic ability

Go Google Ray Lewis, Adrian Wilson..etc

Lomu is rugby legend...every NFL team has 20 guys like Lomu...but even stronger and faster..plus they HIT..they dont close line or arm tackle lol

  • @ColdDish1 Maybe u should watch rugby league instead of rugby union for the hits. I get many of your points about how we would be lightyears behind the ye if

some countries even attempted to play you at ur game. We simply wouldnt be able to take up the sport and be expected to compete with Offensive/defensive linemen. But to dismiss Rugbyunion players/Rugby league players so easily, saying that they wouldnt have the athletic ability, speed or strength is plain ridiculous.

  • @ColdDish1 Theres many positions that could be filled. Full backs, Wingers, Inside/Outside Centres, 2nd Rows, Flankers, Locks could all play with the right training. How many Offensive/defensive linemen would be able

to run around a pitch for 80minutes? Probably none. They could play as receivers, corners, saftey, tight end, running backs. Every rugby player is skilled in ball handling where as 70% of NFL players dont even touch the ball in a game.

  • @ColdDish1 Personally i love all 3 games. NFL, Rugby Union and Rugby League but are u seriously saying that if you put the pads on jerry collins, bakkies botha, sonny bill williams, paul o connell, david pocock, bryan habana, willie mason, that they couldnt play?? These guys would run through brick walls

for you. And if you gave them half of the money NFL players get they will run through 2 walls.

  • @ColdDish1 football players may be conditiond but not nearly as much as rugby players, rugby is nearly non stop while a long play in foot ball is like 13 seconds, i love both sports but rugby. also rugby players need to be multi talented cause every player on the feild must be able to tackle consistantly and what ever else they're position entails.

  • I suggest you check out Brian Orakpo on youtube lol he would eat any rugby player a live he makes lomu look like a little girl

  • @solidserpant id like to see u step on a football field with me wearing all the pads u want pussy. football hits rock the shit out of u, while u get arm tackled and dragged down in rugby. U dont need pads for rugby, because 90% of football hits would be illegal in rugby, so stfu

  • cold dish makes since razz doesnt

  • Razz is a complete tard lol

He thinks england or sweeden could throw together a tckle football team and compete with the states

    LMAO
