  • I STILL WANNA BE SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES !

  • Nice talkin, you said it, the ultimate answer !!!!!!

  • I saw a live version from 2007 and I didn't find it great but they still are great live

  • Pero estaba sembrao ese día, qué pedazo de actuación, madre miaaaaaa!!! Alucinanteee!!!

  • What?? No Teleprompter? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lets make noise with my flip-flops!

  • This is their original. In fact this is the song that launched them to stardom. As much as I love Van Morrison, this is a Counting Crows song.

  • "I don't want to be Bob Dylan"

  • Coolest thing about CC is that they DONT sound like on CD they make it different live and i really like it. Especially Adams rendition of the song.

  • u2 loves dick... fuck them...... post how great they are on a u2 video

  • This guy is great live. i saw them once, had shitty seats, but still a good concert, they sold out quick.

  • this is the worst singer that i've ever heard

  • @Timmyganja you are the worst commenter that I've ever seen!

  • Really, don't let crappy U2 spoil this comfortable nice song.

  • u2 sucks how.........Top 5 greatest bands ever....got your opinion but why do they suck..??? I love Counting Crows.........and would not of ever heard of them for years after 95 but was listening to a U2 song on the radio...I was gonna turn it afterwards but left it on.....cause it was 2-play saturday 2 songs from the same band than quick after they played One...they played Counting Crows " Round here".......If I had not kept listening...who knows

  • summer fest this year!

  • great voice, great music

    long live counting crows!

  • this is original by duritz, even tough it sounds a lot like van morrison.

  • i love how he changes the way he sings live.

  • I feel like they're really underrated. Barely anyone talks about these guys and I think they easily top big "emotional" bands like U2

  • you call U2 emotional?

mainstream bands like U2 don't care about writing a beautifull song, they care if a song will sell well to the crowd or not..the counting crows are different though

  • That's why i put it into quotes. People hale them as this epic emotional experience which i just dont see. I think if people do want emotion, they SHOULD listen to counting crows. That's something we can all agree on.

  • cry me a river..

  • @ XxpapergunxX

You must be mentally sick?? Saying U2 doesn't care about writing a beautifull song? Are u a freaking dumbass or what? Songs like "with or without you" and "one" are on of the best songs ever, loved by a lot of people!

Nevertheless, counting crows is also great music. But stop making such stupid comments!!

  • please get stuffed, die, or go to one of them feed them it's christmastime channels or something. U2 sucks ASS !

  • U must be totally retarded? Go watch the top2000 or lists like that. Like a dozen songs of U2 above these nobheads! U2 is the best band ever, and will stay the best band ever. Live with it little kid!

  • idiot

  • Comment removed

  • I think U2 pretty much sucks.. but I don't think they use words like "retarded".. calm down... OR I WILL RAPE BONO! ha ha ha just kidding.. i don't want HIV

  • some say, the beatles is the best band ever, some say pantera is the best band ever, some say gnr is the best band ever, some say metallica is the best band ever, you say U2 is the best band ever .... WHO FUCKIN CARES ASSHOLES, ALL THAT BANDS ARE AMAZING IN THEIR OWN FUCKIN WAY !!!!

  • Hey, stop with the emo-crap already!

  • @fukinguitar 1000% I AGREE

  • @fukinguitar Yeah, but the Beatles really are the greatest band ever. Everyone else is just great... well, not everyone. ;)

  • @fukinguitar Best comment ever! :P

  • U2 is so mainstream dude, you're probably too scared to listend to other music other than U2, guns and roses and bon jovi

  • @dommelsch

Seriously, never has such an average and dull band such as U2 had so much unwarranted success. They're ok.. had some very good songs.. but that's it. Bono's pretty average to say the least... and how The Edge makes it onto top guitar players lists i'll never know.

  • @mrface19 Actually the edge is a very talented player. I am by no means a big U2 fan but his sound is unique and definitely has talent. He uses effects that take a lot of skill to sound right and he spends hours upon hours trying to get that perfect sound. His style is to not play the fastest or the most notes, but to try to find a melody that flows with the song.

  • @aquateen777

The effects he uses aren't particularly difficult to use actually.. i use them myself regularly. Try making sense of Tom Morello's rig. And if he's spending hours and hours trying to sound right... is that really what you call talent? Surely talent is being able to take these tools and blow everyone away within a few attempts? He has ability, of course.. and he has a good ear for a melody. But he's still majorly over-rated.

  • @dommelsch

    yes idiot

  • @dommelsch Ur saying U2 is the best band ever cuz u look at A chart and see they have lots of songs in there???????? So what....lady gaga is populair right now ....so do you like her too??? Get your own mind and stop walking where the crowd is going.

  • @dommelsch

Youre a moron for even taking a discussion the cannot be won or proved. Best band ever? Best steak ever? -best sex ever? Its all personal taste kiddo

  • @dommelsch hey we might be kids but were kids with better taste than u and we have bigger penis's than u... so shove tht up ur vag u fagit

  • U2 is amazing.

  • These guys are still raw and have that emotion...EXCELLENT!!

  • There so awesome live! they get so into it its awesome!

  • "I -Don't- want to be Bob Dylan."

  • the guitar kind of reminds me Sultan Swing of Dire straits

  • waaw

  • GOOOOOODD!!!!!

  • so good=]

  • i saw 'em live at the Taste of Chicago yesterday, It was great!

  • maaaan. i love it!

  • NO this is a Counting Crows original

  • Cocaine is hell of a drug :D

  • its an ok version

  • i love it

  • I kind of wish they would just play it like it's written....

  • how do you mean? live versions are almost always diferent than on cd

  • I know this, but he changed the singing up sooooo much. I guess over time the song could have morphed since they've been playing it for so many years. Obviously it was amazing. I just liked the album version better.

  • oke i get it thnx

  • think about how much times they play it live...it gets you insane ha

  • lol @ him dancing

  • This is great!! Adam has his act together! kudos

  • sau geil !!!!

  • mr jones is the first song that adam duritz of counting crows ever wrote, before the band.

  • ??? I don't get it. Didn't he write it about his old bandmate from the himalayans??

How could it be the first song he wrote if he wrote it about experiences while he was a musician??

I'm not trying to offend anyone here, I just wanna know what you mean

  • yeah your right but mr jones was in the band briefly so maybe thats what he meant.

  • Van Morrirson my arse. August and Everything After is probably one of the finest debut albums ever. Stands the tests of time now.

  • so right dude I hate haters of the 90's soft scene. my cousin and i played a trivia game when i saw him and we did music when i asked about the 90's he just gave nirvana questions. it was also mother's day so i made a cd for my godmother, i put round here on it and my cousin called it gay, i asked him why he thought that and he said cuz they are why don't you just listen to the jonas brothers! I can't stand those people

  • I was there, it was awesome =D

  • Ok. I consider this myth busted then ;)

  • Got a lot of comparisons to Van Morrison when it came out in 1993, but definitely an original song.

  • I concur

  • <3

    win

  • i love adam.

  • Yeah...this was their first big hit. If someone has never heard of the counting crows, usually if they hear this song, they'll recognize it if they're from planet Earth...definately not a Van Morrison song...

  • This was soo great!! Pinkpop was great.

  • van morrisson? NO! This is classic Counting Crows! Are you serious? you've never heard AAEA? whatever.

  • Awsome song, i rly want to see them live!

  • classic song.
