It's amazing to listen to the albums progress and reflect influences as the years have passed. It is simply proof to the capacity that Glenn has as an artist. He doesn't put out the same old rehashed garbage....he evolves, grows, and makes each album it's own unique entity. The man is a fecking genius.

Danzig tried to to do a Misfits reunion 5yrs ago . Jerry turned him down. That is why Doyle did that tour w/Danzig so anyone who wants to see THE REAL MISFITS needs to get on Jerry's ass . He is the Big holdout cause it would mean he could not do his solo version of The Misfits any more

Grant you I like his new music but as far as I'm concerned his new stuff like "Wicked PussyCat" and "Kiss the Skull" among many others can't hold a candle to "Mother","Twist of Cain","Her Black Wing's" along with other Danzig classics.

excellent! it sounds like classic danzig. his last 2 albums were good, but they weren't danzig. this is a great song, I'm glad he's going back to his roots. I wish he'd go back to the misfits, tho, and kick out jerry only.

Second, I've loved the misfits since I was about 14... And as a long time fan I can honestly say the smartest move that was ever made by Danzig was getting out of that shit. Jerry Only is like the fucking Viacom of "punk rock" and I'd rather not even acknowledge anything put out with the Misfits name without Glenn Danzig.

@cacam01 because glenn ended the misfits and jerry wanted to revive the misfits and there was a big lawsuit and jerry got to keep the misfits name. I fuvking love glenn danzig, but he's kind of a dick to band members, which proably has something to do with it.

@BaalZebubProductions Only really seemed like he was into the idea- that is, into horror punk, Misfits, etc. I think it's pretty evident: Only is still touring, still sports a devil lock despite his receding hair line, etc. Danzig seemed to grow out of it, I guess. Follow up question: in the post-Danzig era of Misfits, were they allowed to do original Misfits songs?
