  • Interesting ideas, but probably impractical today.

  • I don't particularly care for Lowden, and in fact she expressed her idea in a deeply idiotic fashion, but I'd rather see individuals providing for their own needs than have a single-payer plan. Bring chickens to the doctor, or steal from one person to give a free ride to another? I have my own idea of what's more ridiculous.

  • Bet she don't gobble cock, either!

  • That bitch took wet n' wild out of vegas. -___-

  • Fox news supported her all the way!

  • nice information...! thanks for upload this video...!

  • In the days Sue Lowden is talking about , we were still riding horse and buggy , no T.V. ( Fox Noise ) , computers , cell phones , planes , and above all......WOMEN COULDN'T VOTE ! and therefore Sue would not have a political voice at all !

  • So that is why cost of chicken is on the rise?

  • And to think the people of Nevada probably voted for Angle because they felt Lowden was too extreme!

    The irony is delicious.

  • The chicken's worth more than Obamacare. Our company has told us as a direct result of Obamacare, our health insurance will increase 7% - over the counter medications are no longer included in FSAs, and we all need to start looking for alternate health care next year since the White Mosque has offered to pay for it. That's your "stool sample health care bill" - we wouldn't know what was in it until it was passed.

  • What's sad is that, in the aftermath of some of what Sharron Angle has said, Sue Lowden has proven that she was only the SECOND stupidest person in that field.

  • And you were almost right, but the actual reason health care costs are inflated is due to the privatization of health care services. Do you really think that the health care industry cares how much you pay for their service?

  • Also, so you know what, I'm old enough to be getting my doctorate in medicine and more familiar with the use and development of medical technologies to know that your so out of touch with reality, that you think the development of something like the MRI was financed through chickens.

  • shakaama -

I'm sorry, you know nothing about the role of technology in relation to the rising price of health costs. How expensive do you think it is to produce protein assays and automated technologies to account for the development of and increasing demand for effective medical services.

  • You think Sue Lowden (who lost) is funny, wait till the new crop of winners to the republican party arrive. They were all nominated by the help of the Tea Partiers. Christine "No Sex" O'Donnell wins in Delaware and now Carl "Po Mans Prison" Paladino wins New York. What a freaky world we live in!

  • And to think they picked Sharon Angle over this

  • She's talking about a cash system where poor folks died untreated, and rich folks got the best possible service. It's a logical system, makes a lot of sense, but really sucks if you get sick without plenty of cash in the bank, or an expensive, goldplated, airtight. insurance policy. Oh, wait...that's still a problem today, isn't it? It was just worse in the old days...except that doctors did accept charity or partial charity cases, which they don't do anymore.

  • Funny As Heck. "And I'm Not Backing Down From That System Either!" :-)

  • (to the tune of patsy cline's "crazy")

    cray...zee. i'm crazy

    for payin' in poultry.

    cray...zee. for thinkin'

    a drumstick is cash.

    i wih...issh i'd answered

    that question 'bout sla'vry!

    guess panderin',

    i suck at. i feeel

    like an a-ass!

  • Check out North Korea - they pay with cigarettes and booze, I suppose chickens are acceptable. But you don't get any anaethesia when they cut off your leg.

  • what's stupid is that Americans are so dumbed down that they think her talking about how doctors are compassionate people and would take a chicken or house work in the past to somehow mean this woman is stupid.

The idiot is the one in the mirror. This woman is having a conversation against another woman is adamant that insurance is the only way to pay for health "care". I don't have insurance I pay CASH. That's the point of the conversation. Get off your idiocy and think for a change.

  • @shakaama Oh yes, because paying cash for services which account for 25% of the GDP and are on the rise is an option for people for Sue Lowden because she is worth 50 million dollars. And your right, I don't pay money for health care, I pay money for insurance which is a means through which individuals can get services for themselves and their families without having to pay 700 dollars out of pocket for a prescription to lipitor.

What planet do you live on?

  • @blkzen how old are you? do you have any concept of how inflated the health "industry" is? and it is due to ... you guessed it... the insurance "industry". why pay real money and prices for health when you can just have an insurance industry inflate it beyond the means of normal citizens to dare think they could ever pay for it. you have any concept of what's really going on? and they pay politicians billions to keep it that way. have a nice day idiot.

  • Who made this video? Hahahahaha !!!

  • According to statements filed with the Senate Office of Public Records, she and her husband have more than $50 million in stock holdings, much of it in Las Vegas gaming companies.

  • Is there someone progressive we can elect besides Deranged Right-Wing Nutcase Sue Lowden and Corporate-Whore Neocon Harry Reid.

  • @halcyon0830 lol, what a great joke, Harry Reid a neocon

  • @halcyon0830 Why don't you stand? ;P

  • "Sue Lowden;" I love that name. It has a nice ring to it, and it makes me laugh every time I say or think it. This chick is nutz! (no pun intended)

  • Hmmmm... I wonder why she lost?

  • @xetlive Her opponent isn't that much better...

  • @cindermaker

your correct... and thats why the 2 party system should be thrown in the trash. Picking the lesser of two evils isn't really a choice now is it. ;)

  • I'm so glad to be British, our Conservatives are tits but at least they're not batshit crazy.

  • Way to go Sue! You practically gift-wrapped Harry Reid another six years. Funny video, though!

The sad truth is that Sue is the sane conservative in NV(?!)

  • Sharron Angle, your next. Your just as bad as Lowden. Nevadans just don't know it yet, but they will come November. Thanks Rachel for replaying those remarks Racist Rand keeps saying, and for the dumb shit Lowden said. I forgot one thing. Notice how 32 Blacks are jumping on the Senator Band Wagon, becuae they to think a majority are angry at Democrats? Boy oh boy are they in for a suprise.

  • I have the determination, and time to do this. I refuse to have some dumb ass person not only represent my state, but our country just to have a title as Senator. This is why many are what I call jumping on the "Senator Band Wagon" These Baggers actually think a majority of America are angry at Democrats, and that is simply not true. They are seeing more, and more, and the Republicans dirty hands are why we still are suffering today, and will continue to for a few more years.

  • When I saw the paper the next day. I laughed my ass off then got drunk that night to celebrate, and I don't drink. Thank God this dumb ass did NOT win. She knows nothing, and thinking because your wealthy does not mean your an intelligent Unites States Senator. I've been posting on YOUTUBE how I've personally been surreptitously putting, what I call Dirt Flyers about Sue's past in many newspaper stands around Vegas, stuffing them into books in stores, posting them on businesses at 3 a.m., etc.

  • This video proves how stupid women are... and how stupid the GOP is. It is a disaster when they are combined.

  • Why did the chicken cross the road? It saw Sue Lowden coming!!!

  • Well, they'd paint your house, unless they were working 15 hours a day at the slaughterhouse just to get food to eat at night because the bankers on wall street foreclosed on their farm out west. Oh wait a minute, YOUR grandparents were the rich captialists who OWNED that factory. Sorry for the mistake there Mrs. Lowden

  • hilarious!

  • Anything is better than Reid. Electing a chicken would be better.

  • If you think this would be better than Reid, then I believe you have lost your objectivity.

  • @pignut Better than Reid. Put down the drugs. I live in Nevada, and I would advise you to read his track record. Yo need to quit parrotting Radicals like Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh, the entire Tea Baggers, etc. Better than Reid. That's a joke if I ever heard one.

  • @WilliamHCarney Actually It was a joke. I used to live in Nevada and my

ex is still there (bitch) . I also hate to ruin your perception of me,but I do not listen

to any of those conservative commentators much at all. Almost never.

I am a conservative because I am wise. I wonder if you will call them tea baggers

after the socialist reid (yes socialist based on his RECORD) gets his ass kicked

at the polls. Go ahead now start with your personal attacks on me because it

    is all you have.

  • How out of touch with mainstream America she is.

GOP: The party of no ideas.

  • All kidding aside, that woman can't be that stupid!

  • Hey I am a Repubber Dude!!!! My doctor is allergic to chicken, but he loves hangleburgers! I will trade him 2 hangleburgers for a nose job!

  • Just heard on Olbermann: Why did the chicken cross the road? It saw Sue Lowden coming...............yikes!!

  • Brilliant vid!!!

  • Gotta say, this is my favorite political video of this cycle. Well done!

  • Damn, can you believe Lowden allowed Barney Frank to hypnotize her into saying that idiotic chicken comment on live TV?

  • Poor chickens.

nevermind the fact that eating meat is one of the major causes of heart disease, diabetes and cancer ...

  • Fortunatley in Canada our government health care provides state-subsidized chickens and we don't have to worry about getting fixed if we don't have enough chickens we will still be cared for :D

  • @ReadmanJ It's because Canadians care about one another and US citizens are largely selfish. I'm sick of the "me, me, me" attitude.

  • @ReadmanJ Because you can freeload off those making money and doing work (who pay the doctors that care for you) ...That's really something to be proud of, congratulations.

  • Sue. You really messed up when you said your not backing down from this idea, and coming on T.V. a month later to say it was taken out of context. But after finding out your worth $50 million, I see why you said it. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Just like a Conservative Republican. All gripes, and no conducive solutions. Which explains, if you review political history. The dumb ass Republicans have added the most to our debt, and have added the least amount of jobs.

  • @WilliamHCarney

That's obviously the case, as evidenced by the last two years of our Democratic administration...

  • I'm hoping this lady Angle out here wins the GOP primary. Since she is associated with the Tea Baggers. I'm confident overall that a majority of voters,at least us intelligent ones, DO NOT want a Radical Extreminist in Congress. That would be triple times as bad as the Bush W years. If so, then America has what it gets coming. Refering to my triple times as bad remark about Bush W.

  • I've personalyy, for the past three weeks, have been putting photo copies of a color flyer I made about you around town. Put many out the days after your dumb ass Barter comment, then you go on to say the financial collapse was due to, too much bank regulations. Damn your a dumb ass. It's been proven a million times over that the banking system is not watched enough. Especially the $20 trillion Renew Sales & Repurchase Industry.

  • Too late Sue. I saw your commercial here in Vegas trying to cover up that bullshit with bartering with doctors. Now people see, and hear how dumb you really are. By the way. It just came out recently about am unethical thing you did to people here in Nevada as well. Immorality always comes back to bite.

  • Doctor's a very sympathetic people? They aren't people, people, they're alien demons, glorified butchers for the NWO. The best health CARE in the US is NO government health care, prison terms for big pharma and the congressmen who've been getting their pockets lined.

  • Wow who is endorsing her KFC? POPEYES? LEES CHICKEN?

  • actually, i wouldn't mind bartering, really. Don't have to depend as much as on the buck. I'll start raising some chickens tomorrow. bawk! bawk!

  • bawk! bawk! bawk!

  • Sorry, we can't let you sacrifice your laying hens, the eggs are needed to make more vaccines with cancerous green monkey kidneys, aluminum for Alzheimers, mercury to shut your kids up and trigger immune defiiciency, polysorbate 80 to trigger the green monkey primer. And give thanks for the Health Care Bill, my children, because after the statins wipe out your brain before you don't figure this out, we'll give you free AZT for your AIDS and you'll be dead before you know it. God Bless America.

  • HAHAHAHA...omg.

Well, you know, only a chix like her can come up with such a chicken solution.

  • Priceless!

  • Doctor, can I get a full check-up for a Rhode Island Red Rooster?

  • Loved it...!!! (LOL).

  • Woman is insane.

Apparently she is a millionaire casino executive. I believe her when she says bartering is IN.

I am going right over to the casino now to see what I can pay to play. I even have bottle tops in my pockets - we will see - if she is right and I can win by bartering she has my vote.

  • My Dr is an AHOLE!!!! Sympathetic what planet of DRS is she from!!!! SHOW THEM THE MONEY OR THEY WILL SHOW U THE DOOR!!!

  • we haven't stooped that low yet, but have stooped low allowing the Federal Reserve to remain secret in their dealings.

  • Quick someone make a joke about how cock means chicken.

  • What does she mean by the old days? the dark ages?

  • Hey you know what's ironic. This liberal, union, Harry Reid front group is called "Progess Now Nevada", yet they support the same douche that has been in office for 3 decades. So what exactly is this "progress" in Nevada you are in search of?

  • @mrrightwing1000 Actually, I have to agree with you here. I think one of the biggest problems in our country is the career politician. Two changes to our system that i think are essential: TERM LIMITS and CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM.

  • Heh. Those chickens seem pretty stoked about it.

  • All you are doing is jumping on what I call the Senator Band Wagon. Like the rest of the so called candidates. Just so you know. When you do something without morals, it always blows back in your face. Novemebr can't get here fast enough.

  • @WilliamHCarney Umm..ok.

  • Hey Sue. I live out here in Las Vegas, and saw, I believe your campaign manager on T.V. being asked about Health Care. He was asked if everyone has access to Health Care. The response was yes. If you go to the emergency rook with a bullet hole in your chest. The bad part is he was serious. Your bartering bullshit, and you also say too much regulation caused the financial debacle. Please be picked for the GOP, because Harry will win even easier. Damn your a dumb ass.

  • @WilliamHCarney So what you are saying is that if someone is shot in the chest, they will not receive medical treatment? And what caused the financial debacle was the idiot democrats like Bawney Fwank, who when the Bush and the Republicans were saying Fannie and Freddie needed regulation, were saying everything was fine. Dumbasses. But let's follow Obama and blame Bush like good little democrats.

  • @mrrightwing1000 You obviously don't re-re-re-re-re-read. You probalyy listen to Faux News. Bush is to blame still. That is why the latest poll shows 59% still blame him compared to only 25% to Obama. Hmmm. The houding bust, as of three months ago, again was due to Bush NOT answering the warnings back in 2007 about the Renew Sales & Repurchase Industry which is unregulated, and uninsured.

  • @WilliamHCarney Obviously you are re-re-re-tarted. Right here on youtube, you can search and find where the Republicans, 4-6 years ago were calling for investigating and regulating Fannie and Freddie, and your lovely Democrat leaders saying nothing is wrong. One such search would be

"Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, and Democrats are Clueless on Freddie Mac Fannie Mae and the financial credit "

Maxine Waters 2004 "Mr. Chairman, we do not have a crisis at Freddie Mack and particularly Fannie May".

  • @mrrightwing1000 Save my username, because I gurantee you, Harry Reid will win. I heard the whole Segment, and saw it. I also saw the whole segment her dumb ass Campaign Manager saif recently. I live out here. I am not worried about poll numbers, especially when they only poll 600-1000 people. We have no idea the number of Republicans or Democrats.

  • @WilliamHCarney Well if you saw the whole segment, you have comprehension issues. I won't say anything about her supposed "campaign manager", because I have no clue what you are talking about. I, like you, also live out here and I am hard pressed to find people who want Harry Reid. Most who do, do only because his is the SML. Actually we have an idea of # dems and reps. There are more dems than reps, and many indies. Still, Harry is going to Searchlight.

  • @WilliamHCarney Oh, forgot to mention...Harry has lost 18 straight polls to every Republican running. If those don't worry you, I don't know what to tell you. 1, 2 polls, maybe. But 18? Come on. You can't be that dumb. Heck, Harry even said he would win if ALL candidates were listed (indies, etc) and a week later he got his wish, and still got his butt kicked. HARRY REID IS DONE. Face it. No matter how much he lies, and how dirty he gets.

  • @mrrightwing1000 He will win. Polls never worried me. I've seen tooo many switching. If Harry had a month left or a Republican had a conducive solution, yes. But with six months left. No I;m not worried at all especially due to Harry's campaign zeal. He'll be fine.

  • @mrrightwing1000 By the way. It's already been confirmed by top economist at Yale, and most of all, the Congressional Budget Office, that the money he is spending is due to playing catch up for what, as usual a Conservative Republican spent without nothing being payed for. Now, unless you are an economist or work in the CBO who deals in hudge numbers like trillions, then I'll listen to you. Until then, I go on facts by the professionals.

  • @WilliamHCarney How can you spend without paying for? Please take an econ class. I notice how you fail to acknowledge the video of the dems saying there was no problem with Fannie and Freddie when the reps say there was. THAT is why we are in this situation, not because of your "spending without nothing being paid for". Learn your facts.

  • @mrrightwing1000 It's very simple. Just like many homeowners who are in debt right now. A car or house note is slowing, but surely backing up. What do you do. You go borrow money to saty afloat. It's that simple. If not, you will go under just as fast. That is why I wish Obama would give all that money back, even the Stimulus, so we can go into a Great Depression then everyone will know. Then it;s back to square one where it started from. Sorry Ass Bush Jr.

  • @mrrightwing1000 The Fannie Freddie did not cause the damage rumored to be. The Economist from Yale recently came out with the study with the Renew Sales & Repurchase Industry. A $20 trillion unregulated, uninsured company who fire sold investments back to borrowers due to the Money Market Funds & Junk Bonds taking profits from Big Banks. No one talks about this truth though. This was the main reason for the housing bust. Not Sub Prime.

  • @mrrightwing1000 I really wish that Stimulus was given back so unemployment can be 25% versus 12%. I'll bet people wold be saying go borrow then.

  • @mrrightwing1000 Bush initially made the push for relaxed lending practices for Freddie and Fannie. He spoke of extending the American dream to more people. Google it. I think the current financial crisis can be blamed equally on both sides.

  • @mrrightwing1000 What I'm saying since it flew over your head. If the best idea is to barter with doctors in 2010, not 1910, and to use a dumb ass reason like being shot in the chest. No wonder Republicans lose many elections. The Conservatives are just dumb. By the way. Per the Congressional Budget Office. Due to Bush's shit without it being payed for, we will be suffering from his shit past 2014, and Obama was told last summer he would have to borrow a minimum of $9.3 trillion dollars.

  • @WilliamHCarney Again, libtard, that is not her nor any Republicans idea on healthcare, besides the fact that it is actually being DONE. What you heard was a segment of an entire forum that was was filmed by that fat lard that follows Sue around, and twisted because Harry Reid and the dems are scared shitless because they have fucked this country enough and the people will make them pay. Obviously you are too stupid to know that Obama aded more to the deficit in 1 year, than Bush did in 8.

  • @mrrightwing1000 Also, per the CBO. If not for the Stimulus, we would be in another Great Depression. He can give it all back if you want. The GOP had 6 years, and the Republican idiot had 8. They dropped the ball. Period. They suck.

  • @mrrightwing1000 There were mistakes made on both sides. Fannie and Freddie could do this because of key regulations that were removed by the republicans regarding how regular banks and investment banks could interact with each other. This hits on a huge problem with our government in general. Lobbyists. We desperately need campaign finance reform so our representatives put us first.

  • It doesn't matter if a chicken, or a burro wins the GOP primary, Dirty Harry is going down.

  • @mrrightwing1000 Nope. Sorry. Senator Reid will win re-election. I just heard most of those employees that got fucked over by the Lowdens have been notified. She can also forget about the union. Now, just today, after her campaign manager said on T.V. today that everyone has access to health care if you get shot in the chest. Just like a dumb Conservative Republican. Always complaining with no intelligent solutions. I can't wait until November.

  • @WilliamHCarney The whole state of NV has been fucked by Harry Reid, and you think a few disgruntled employees are going to over shadow that? I don't know how any logical person can think Dirty Harry can re-election, considering 18 straight polls shows every GOP candidate defeating him by a large margin. Lowden is up by 18 points. The only way he can win is if he plays very, very dirty..which isn't beneath. But Nevadans are sick of him, so it doesn't matter, he is done. Face reality.

  • Yeah, like any doctor's going to go along with that. How's he going to pay his medical school debt and malpractice insurance with chickens, hickory nuts, needlepoint samplers and a chord of wood?

  • @EyeLean5280, besides, she's lying through her teeth anyway. My grandparents lived in the TWENTIETH century, and paid their doctors with MONEY.

Unfortunately, doctors didn't have access to much in the way of space-age equipment or super drugs. So yeah, healthcare was lots cheaper but most of the time it couldn't save your life.

And they say OBAMA is trying to kill your grandma???

  • One could also barter with the doctor, how about using some "special adult favors" as collateral?

  • Well I dont know once the law is pass I bet there will be alot of BLACK doctors who will be happy when you show up to the doctors office with a chicken.

Dont call me a racist Im just repeating what I hear some of the blacks said when I was playing basketball with them.

  • If you bring a tub of KFC chicken to the doctor you can get a kidney transplant for free! XD

If your doctor is black you should preferably bring Popeye's or Church's chicken.

(I'm not being racist, I'm black myself. It's an in-joke about the black community.)

  • haha thats too funny. Can GOP get any more crazy?

  • @samk2785 You should of heard her campaign manager on T.V. today. He said everyone has access to health care if you go to emergency with a bullet hole in your chest.

  • These chickes are very talented vs. Lowdencare.

  • Seems the dems are out of touch with what's really going on. Surprise, surprise.

    From USA Today:

Old-fashioned bartering helps pare medical bills

Cash, check or a cord of wood for that doctor visit? As health care costs climb, old-fashioned bartering has seen brisk growth since the economy soured.

Hillsborough, N.J.-resident Robert Josefs traded his website designing skills for nearly $1,000 in dental work last year

  • Seems the dems are out of touch with what's really going on. Surprise, surprise.

Hillsborough, N.J.-resident Robert Josefs traded his website designing skills for nearly $1,000 in dental work last year

  • @mrrightwing1000 Seems the republicans are out of touch with what's really going on. Surprise surprise.

You think Robert Josefs ever traded his website designing skills for a crate of chickens? STFU idiot.

  • @ngarbo00 Hey idiot, you are more than welcome to search "Old-fashioned bartering helps pare medical bills" in the USA Today, a story done back in Jan. Youtube will not let me link it. Also, idiot, maybe you should get your head out of your ass and realize this attack by Dirty Harry and his goons is unfounded because Sue Lowden NEVER SAID TO TRADE CHICKENS FOR HEALTHCARE. It's very easy to take things out of context when they only show you a 30 second sound bite.

  • @mrrightwing1000 She does cite an example of her grandparents exchanging a chicken for medical services. Yes, she doesn't directly say bring a chicken to your doctor, but the idea does seem silly and a little out-dated. There are ways to lower health care costs but I don't see this as being a viable option for bringing about significant change. I think there are better theories and certainly better candidates.

  • @Annaverseable How is it outdated when it is being done? I also think people don't realize where she was and what she was asked when she said "barter" in the first place. She was asked for other ideas. Bartering is not her policy. But of course that fatty that Reid has following Sue everywhere she goes edited the video to make it look like it was her policy. Morons.

  • @mrrightwing1000 I think both sides are guilty of using sound bites out of context. It irks me either way. I lived in Nevada for a number of years, and I know that outside of Reno and Vegas there's well not much. Perhaps in say Lovelock you might be able to barter. But something like 80% of Nevada's pop lives in the 2 aforementioned cities. I think we need to let those who wish have a good laugh and move on. When it comes time for debates I assume she'll have more to say than let's barter.

  • @mrrightwing1000 Ok then, why don't you put your chickens where your mouth is and next time you go to see your doctor try to barter with her for some groceries. let me know how that works out for you. Idiot.

  • @ngarbo00 Well, you see, unlike most democrats I have a job. I went to college, so did my wife, so we both have insurance. That means I don't have to pay a dime for a doctor visit, because I pay every paycheck. I also live in a city. Now someone who has a trade or something to trade that lives somewhere in a rural area might be able to go ahead and barter. And if you have bothered to look, you will see that this is happening. So since you continue to deny it, YOU'RE THE IDIOT.

  • @ngarbo00 You see, the problem with most liberals and progressives, is that unless it comes from the tit of the government, it's not a good idea. Progressive liberals, such as yourself and 85% of all democrats don't have the tenacity to go out and work and figure out ways to make your own way in life, with out good ole' Uncle Sam somehow paying your way. Get a life, get into reality, and get your head out of your ass.

  • @mrrightwing1000, uh huh. And what happens when his six year old comes down with cancer and the cost of her treatment is over three times his entire net worth, plus the next five years of his salary?

  • @EyeLean5280

I don't know. What will happen when his six year old daughter comes down with cancer under Obamacare, and the government says, "Nope. Sorry. Not paying for it". That is besides the point, but you liberal idiots are too stupid to know that.

  • @mrrightwing1000 As opposed to say your health care company saying "Nope. Sorry. Not paying for it."? I'm not taking a position on health care by making this comment. I just simply don't see the logic of this specific argument. It seems like it's 6 in one hand, and half a dozen in the other. Either way you can't pay for the treatment.

  • @Annaverseable Do you know of anyone with health insurance being denied cancer treatment? The point to "eyelean" was that bartering is happening for some people in some circumstances. Of course to go completely out of context, she has to go to drastic measures. I paid cash my first car, $1500. But I financed my car I have now, $30,000. Just because I can't pay cash for my $30,000 car, doesn't mean people can't pay cash for a $1500 car. You see the difference?

  • @mrrightwing1000 Actually yes, there are hundreds if not thousands of stories of people being denied heath care by their insurance. The most disturbing fact is health care providers have been known to run a fine tooth comb over your records if you have a catastrophic illness to see if there is some way they can kick you off their policy. My mom and grandmother had breast cancer, but I won't get the brac tests because a positive result = pre-existing condition. I don't get your analogy though?

  • @mrrightwing1000, hey wing nut the govt already pays for it. Have you heard of Medicaid? When people cant afford to pay or the insurance companies end up dropping people the govt pays & not with the chickens as this idiots suggests.

  • @samk2785 Hey libtard, ask the hospitals and doctors if Medicaid is paying them. Just because there is a "program" out there, doesn't mean it's working..and the only idiots that suggested paying with chickens is the Reid supporters.

  • @mrrightwing1000 I know Drs who would rather get a chicken then Medicare. The Obamacare dummies are hiding thier heads like Ostrichs, the biggest know poultry alive.

  • Yeah, go ahead and try to haggle or barter with a hospital. I would love to see how far she gets.

  • As near as I can tell, my $50,000 ACL tendon reconstruction surgery would've cost about 2500 chickens based on my costs as a backyard chicken farmer. Hope the doctor is hungry!

  • hey dummies, I live in nevada and my Dr Barters...you fascists who have no clue what currency is scare seinsible people.

  • @dons123111 And you have no sense of simple sentence structure. "Dr Barters. . ." implies that your doctor's name is Barters. Additionally, fascism is the incorrect word here. You're looking for socialism. An over-simplified definition of fascism is when corporations and the government merge into one controlling power. It's considered to be the furthest point on the RIGHT of a political spectrum. Frankly sir, you scare people with a high school education.

  • @Annaverseable LOL, ok, and what does Obamacare do other then empower corporations? not much... Obama and the Dems bailed out AIG, Goldman Sachs, GM, wrote Tarp to bailout coporate banks, so according to your analysis, he'a Rightwinger and a Fascist...which is my assessment as well..we agree on what Fascism is..and it's in the WH now

  • @dons123111 Obamacare refers to health care correct? Or did I miss the memo where it became a blanket term for the presidents policies? You were talking about health care which could be associated with socialism not fascism. The bailout is another matter entirely. First, Bush passed the first bailout. Second, both bailouts had bi-partisan support. Third, there was no bailout before the Great Depression and look what happened. Fourth, I've personally seen bailout $ return a teacher to work.

  • @Annaverseable You missed the memo. Obamacare is coporatism. It only puts coporations in more control over your life. Corporatism is the road to Fascism. Once corporatism fails, a dictator is found by the senseless masses to try and make it all work. Bailouts are corporatism as well, and yes most reps are guilty too. The Great depression was associated with anti-free trade policies..we have stooped that low yet.......

  • @Annaverseable I live in Japan, where they failed to bail out the economy after their crash in the early 90's, and the result was a recession that lasted nearly 10 years. These people who blame Obama for cleaning up Bush's mess are STUUUPID, spineless idiots that deserve to be laughed into oblivion.

  • @dons123111 Additionally, the money you earn represents work that you did. I assume this is what you mean by "no clue what currency is". If I do $1200 worth of web design for a dentist in exchange for $1200 worth of dental work, then I haven't really saved any money have i? I could have done $1200 worth of work for someone else and paid the dentist. Bartering, assuming it's an even exchange, does nothing to address the underlying costs of health care.

  • I know exactly what your thinking. You think your average looks (6 out of 10) looks will win you a Senate seat. Wrong. You need a brain stem with your brain. But I do encourage you to keep talking, because like my father has always said. "You never know a dumbass until they open their mouth."

  • The Democrats has not even begun to air your faults, and believe me. You have many. Remember your past employees you screwed? I can't wait until November now. What you said in the paper also about too much regulation is what caused the financial debacle. What world do you live in? News flash dizzy girl. The FACT there was not enough regulation is what the whole country is pissed about. You can't be this dumb.

  • Hey Sue. I just saw the debate with all the Republicans, and I see your story now. Like Quitter Palin, I always like to give a person the benefit of the doubt, and your just jumping on, what I call a Senate band wagon. You have no confidence in what you say, and what you say makes no sense just like Quitter Palin. Maybe you two should go Rougu together. The anti-incumbent thing with Harry Reid won't work here in Vegas. You don't stack up at all.

  • Wow a repig woman even more stupid than Palin.

  • lol @ doctors being sympathetic. Idiot they didn't spend 6 years in med school and thousands of dollars in debt in order to to free work nor is a chicken going to pay for the Mercedes they drive and the half a million dollar house they live in and their childrens private school. Bartel ur ass you wrinkled idiot.

  • Nice of the Repubs to assist Reid with his reelection hopes by appointing this dimwit run against him.

  • @Palin123Sucks So true. In November Harry Reid will have so many creative ideas for campaign ads, mocking Sue Lowden's 'Hens for Healthcare' plans!

November will be 'Chicken Month' for Suzie-Q, that's for sure! And everyone must vote in Chicken suits! Free Speech 1st Amendment Rights & all that.

  • i mean she is a republican what do you expetct more

  • @himajinoO Nope, but I expect* more. Awesome spelling you elitest D*head

  • The second time, she was referring to people who pay cash, so she meant to say haggle instead of barter, but still... "Doc, here's $2500 and a chicken for my heart transplant. That's my final offer. Take it or leave it."

  • KEEP FUCKING THAT CHICKEN SUE!

  • This is what the Republican Party is devolving into?

  • not enough chickens in the world to pay for healthcare? Help support the anti-chicken abortion bill by coming to the "No yokes means more folks" campaign so more eggs can become chickens we can barter with. :P

Seriously tho the US government.... go figure lol

  • You are all misrepresenting her idea. It doesn't have to be a chicken. It could be some old cassette tapes, some hair clippings, anything really. I mean, if you don't have anything the doctor wants, I guess you're out of luck, but hey, that's the glory of an unregulated economy, commie! Deal with it!

  • I've also found, by spending my own monies, more dirt on you. Many of those hundreds of employees you forced to work part time to cut their benefits have been notified. Yur not going to represent Nevada in the US Senate if we can help. By we, I mean us 6 Political Activist who are doing our own thing. We found something else. To be continued............................

  • Knowing now how this fuckin idiot thinks. Anyone in Nevada who votes for her, should have their voting rights revoked. I'm going to personally post around parts of Las Vegas this article so the American People can see how a typical Republican is protecting the rich Banks, and Wall Street as usual. Like I've said a hundred times over. I'm elated we have 6 months till the mid-terms. Just like Quitter Palin. I hope this idiot is picked to run on the Republican ticket.

  • This woman is a fuckin idiot. Worse than than other one Quitter Palin. Not only is she living in 1910, but in the Las Vegas Sun today April 28, 2010, she says the meltdown was caused by too much regulation. The whole argument has been how the banks, and mainly Wall Street have NOT had enough regulation. This happened with the so called great president Reagan, then the asshole Bush Jr. All Republicans. Now this Republican wants to follow.

  • another tv anchor, beauty queen, and an idiot!

-Sound familaiar! May I say Sarah Palin!!!!

  • gayweather

  • Bring a bucket of KFC...receive a liver transplant

  • give chicken...receive kidney

  • Show me ONE f**king Doctor you can barter with? THEY DO NOT EXIST.... perhaps she can tell Santa Claus to help. Just goes to show how out of touch rich people are.

  • @pinellaspirate I;m laughing my ass off reading this one. My stomach hurts. Seriously.

  • Chicken Sue Lowden strikes again

  • @NotaBeetleFan. If health insurance were non-profit that would take care of the conflict of interest from politicians owning stock.. Eliminating medicare fraud would make things easier on honest HCPs by allowing better reimbursement rates and less red tape.I agree with you on early resolution of potential malpractice cases thru mediation. My surgeon father stressed communication.Business ethics at the top stink & it infects everything - politics, healthcare.

  • I can just see Sister Sarah Failin is laughing at this broad now, think Sarah can barter her dead fish that go with the flow. Like a Salmon or two for a brain.
