Wonderful I just followed Zigzigaaah's instructions and it short circuited my entire mixer...hopefully it didn't damage the innofader, gonna need a new 3 pin connector, gonna hafta buy a new mixer YAY!
@elekktroxstatic Sorry to hear that, I was afraid to solder close to the Circuit Board thats why I cut the wire seems to be easier like that. Remember the wire are Positive-Negative-Positive when you cut them good luck.
My boyfriend and I are doing this now, but it's not working and he miiight kill someone. Lol. When you cut the wire on the mixer there's two parts, you sodder the three wires on the top to the three fader wires... But what do you do with the other part of the wire that is attached to the left side of the board of the mixer?!?! It's taped up in there and we can't tell. I wonder if we have this wrong and that's why it's not working.. Please respond!! Thanks for the video but we need some more hel
@MELLANIEL84 Sorry for the late Reply but I hope this helps If you already cut the wires wrap them back together with the one from the Innofader and solder back just how they where but now then Innofader is just going to be connected. Let me know if this helps I can make another video doing some more explaining and with out the Electrical tape.
@djdtrackz When you adjust the innofader on this mixer it stays like that until you open it again and adjust it again. But yes you can still fade slowly by using the UPFADERS like that you can mix or blend with out using the Xfader.

When you install the innofader you can still using the switch for cuting and blend from your mixer???

I did it today,
You can solder the 3 wires cable (red-black-red) whithout cutting the grey cable. You just have to solder above the connection you show @5:32.
And the switch to change the curve on the M2 will no longer work because the curve is only controled by the innofader.
