@hlads66 That is a very good question and one that we get quite often. Dave Dawson is 100% self-taught. Because we don't have any experience with any of the gunsmithing schools out there we can't comment on how well they might educate you. Dave's advise is to work for the very best gunsmith that you can. Not an easy answer considering that means getting a job that offers on-the-job training. And those are few and far between.
I bought a 1/16" bit and ejector for my Para Big Hawg. Gunsmiths near me have a 6 week backlog. I was nervous as heck but now have a nice tight fitting ejector. Thanks so much guys!

I was just wondering if you are self taught or attended a gunsmith school? There is a school near me but not sure if it is worth the cost.
