  • Interesting demonstration. I wouldn't have tried it myself, but it's good see the capabilities of these boats tested in such a way and not just have the theorical notion of what would happen.

  • They don't have the cone ends because the tube has a tapered design, it gets bigger at the back. This allows for more buoyancy in the rear, more HP, and more interior space.

  • This happened to me about 3 quarters of a mile out on my lake.

  • Always interesting to see such deflation demonstrations. Such boats are very safe. I wonder why the new Zodiacs don't have the cone ends anymore.
