One of my favorite Holly songs of all-time, thanks for posting. Buddy would be proud! I suppose you don't have any tabs or chords for this song by chance? would love any help possible. Keep up the awesome work from the best era of music that ever lived.
Wow werry good. You have a nice flow in your music and this is one of my Buddy Holly favorits.I have one wish and i wonder if you want to covering the Elvis song are you lonesome tonight.I think your voice is perfect for that song.Keep on rocking and rolling mate.
Nice job!!! Is that an epiphone ej-200 that you are playing. Just curious. It looks like one but I noticed you have a red pick gaurd.I like the red pick gaurd on that model better than the black one.
thats not a ej-200 dude its the original Gibson j-200. most epiphones are cheap versions of Gibson's. i love epiphone but Gibson's are way better. i have a ej-200 sounds great but play a j-200 and you'll hear the difference if you don't you haven't play guitar long enough to know the difference.
Thanks for info. I do apologize if it it came across as an insult. If it is a gibson j200 then I know it must have a solid spruce top and the the epson ej-200 has a laminated spruce top. I am just learning about guitars, so I am an amatuer who has a lot to learn. Appreciate your music. Rock on bro.
Mate, i know little about them myself other than they cost a fortune lol. But seriously, yeah its the real deal. When i was younger i always saw pictures of Buddy Holly, Elvis, The Everlys etc and just decided if they all play a one, they cant be bad! A total pleasure to play.
We'll the guitar is cool, and it your playing and singing sounds pretty good through my home stereo speakers. So whatever your doing , just keep doing it. G.W.
It is a true Vintage gibson j-200, in my limited opinion, the best acoustic out there. It is very similar to the one played by Elvis in the late Sixties and Pete Townsend. For me theres no other guitar to match the sound.
I agree!!! A couple of my dad's railroad bussies had matching Gibsons from probably the mid 50's. Not sure the model but they sounded and played so beautifully. I was 9 or 10 when Friday nights were music noght at home ( and drinking of course!!
That's when I learned my first chords.
I have a 1970 Epiphone Texan now, which is all I can afford, but it sounds fairly good and plays nice, but no where close to the Gibson!!!
Uh oh Keep this guy away from our women...... JK fantastic cover baldy. Post up when tou record please....
