@Anurb223 He does have a loft in New York, New York. Im not to sure about small houses around the world, but i do know when not on tour he resides in NYC.
this song makes me wanna do that dance, you know the one where people crouch down and kick there feet out, and they sometimes balance something on their head while they do it, like a beer or a chair...
got all thier C'D'S and love them always to good to bring to a party and smash shit up suppppppppppppppppaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr tarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaannnnnnnnnnntttttttttttaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :L
To add my voice to this conversation: Gogol Bordello and System of a down are both inspired by each other, they have a very similar way of writing music. Someone said "Metal for posers" which is the most inaccurate descption I've ever heard, I wouldn't even call System Metal. Both them and Gogol Bordello mix different music styles like not many other artists out there, they're both incredibly intelligent bands. And without System of a down, Bordello wouldn't sound like they do today.
@erikabuiraypunto Taranta is a folk dance which takes its name from tarantism, an alleged envenomation popularly believed to result from the bite of a kind of wolf spider called a "tarantula".
this is to the tune of Lezginka :D !!!! I love Caucasian dances! and at 1:02 i think i heard him say "vai mama jan!" which means "oh dear mom!" in Armenian, kind of like saying "oh hell ya" lol
Learned the Tarantella dance when I was 12/13, got into punk at 15, got really into ska not long after... After a few years rediscovered folky type stuff, few years later discovered Bartok and the bridge between classical, folk and modern music. Never did I think one band could combine all of these things, and have one of the best sets of fans I've come across.
Thank you Gogol Bordello for confounding my expectations.
When they stop playin music, they where still full of energy and joy as they where when they started :D and when i tought that i cant dance enymore, then every time they kept me goin and goin and goin :D :D
I´m in love everytime when i hear gogol bordellos music <3 they are so happy and fun people :D <3 i have never ever before dnce and having so mutc fun than 2010 6.12 when they was here in finland <3 <3 I WANT YOU BACK IN FINLAND <3
@SoldierSide77 i think the confusion lies where theyve all came from, soad is armenian, which is pretty close to russia, so there music is similar but ive been a fan of soad for a long time and gogol by far is much more talented, soad just uses the influences from their upbringing in their music, if anything gogol would have been their influence if theyd came out earlier
@ReadMyCommentBitch I take it you've never been to the Electric Factory? That's all there is. It's literally an old abandoned electric factory that they renovated. All standing room on the bottom floor with the bars and overlooking balconies on the upper floor.
