  • This has become one of my greatest boat songs

  • for those 2 people hoo dont like this song your crazy and that means you dont know what good music is im sure those 59 people hoo like it would agree with me

  • Thanks for posting this song -Love this version - southern soul dancing

  • Spirit originally wrote this song?

  • @JimmyPage968 Randy California from Spirit wrote it. This is an okay version but I much prefer the original.

  • The Blackfoot cover is the best rendition of this song. I love the harmonies and boogie feel to it.

  • The harmonies are awesome, as well as Greg T. Walker's thunderous bass lines.

  • Gotta say I like the spirit version better... checking out alice coopers next...

  • It was nice living the life. I was a friend of Blackfoot in the day. I was a "guest" audio engineer when they their tour passed thru Florida.

  • great cover great album great band : ]

  • it is great to see someone knows Spirit did this song first...attivo67...it was #25 in 1969

  • Omg one of my favs !!! And Highway song is the best song in the world. Thank you Ricky. !

  • Alice Cooper did a great version of this song. I don't normally like covers as much as or better than the originals, but Alice's version is better than the original.

Jeff Healy's cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps is much better, IMO, than the original.

The main reason I got into Blackfoot was because of the harmonica on Train, Train. That, and that song just rocks.

    Southern rock is true rock.

  • Martian - Black foot is as southern rock as it gets, and I should know ,I live in Ga too

  • long live southern rock and those that play it

  • Jeff Healey did a great cover of this song.

  • Spirit's song...COVER!!!

  • I always wanted to hear this song covered - and although I like the rest of the "Strikes" album, this was a disappointment. And Hey MidnightMoon the only reason I liked Blackfoot and 38 Special was they did NOT sound so much like Southern Rock. "Southern Rock" was mostly ersatz....people cashing in on the Allmans...who were NOT Southern Rock by the way, just a hard R&B band that happened to be from the South. Go ahead, flame me...I am from Georgia.

  • @martianshoes WHY WOULD I FLAME YOU?...LOL...EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO AN OPINION...HOPE YOUR DAY US LOVELY!!!...

  • @martianshoes A dissapointment?? ... your opinion SUCKS!! >:)~

  • @pking1981 Thanks for the informed opinion, sport.

  • LOVE IT!!! CAN"T BEAT THAT GOOD OLD SOUTHERN ROCK!!...♥XXXX...(",)...XXXX♥

  • the old farts come out. we all have are fixes. we tell, but no one listens.

  • GREW UP LISTENING TO THIS

  • I think the best version of this tune

  • hell yeah love blackfoot!
