@ktownshizzle they are two different animals, okay, the bad lever is use to release your bolt carrier from the last bullet ejection off your magazine. now the bullet button is used to eject your mag off the mag well .. see the picture?

@firefighter1107 i tried it once between 200 to 300 yrds,with the 3x magnifier. im getting on my target but i can not compare to an actual scope. i can shoot better with out my magnifier with this eotech . everytime you zero the red dot with magnifier to a 100 yard or 200 yards, when to flip the magnifier to the side ... on CQB your point o impact is out of the range ... i got tired of it so i just use the red dot with out the magnifier ...

@deej1478 While he may not have said it in the best manner, his complaint is somewhat valid. The M4 profile barrel is designed with the attachment of an M203 in mind, making it thinner in some areas. Without the M203, this needlessly sacrifices a consistent, thicker barrel size.
@vogagis there are several manufacturers who makes this kind of gas block, one of them is smith&wesson that is similar to the adams arms piston kit that is available. it allows me to hook up my front sights but has draw backs like in this case i am using a magpul buis which is made of plastic, possibilities of getting melt because gas block heats up so i moved my sights to the quad rail.
Ill just post this here the rail on this firearm is the Omega free float, its not a drop. It has screws that secure it to the delta ring makeing it a free float. This is done so the the owner dosnt have to modify the rifle. Research the instalation vids Look at the dd website, The only drop in rail DD makes is the EZ car rail....

@bryant0320003 everytime there is a new product line comes out available for civilian use, there are plenty of us on the gun community try it out see what are the advanctages and disadvanctages. my m&p 15, i already sent out over 2500 rounds and it works like when it was first out of the box. proper cleaning and maintenance helps functionality and performance of the rifle.

@zombietracker916 I have 8k thorugh my M&P and Im just now having some problems, Ive never had a stopage from my DD. As far as money goes they are almost the same price. The problem is in the metal and the other is a piston or DI gas. For the most part people are not going to shoot a gun to the point it really fails

I bought a M&P 15 PSX and had to send it back to Smith & Wesson 3 times because of the piston jamming. Ended up getting a refund and went with a regular direct impingement and it's working fine. Bought a spike's tactical upper and lower and built it myself saving money. They have nickel boron coated bolt carrier groups that are more reliable and easier to clean. Cleaning my direct impingement is actually easier than the M&P 15 PSX and it performs better.
@fturk47 that sucks man, 3 times went back to manufacturer and didn't fix the issue. I'm pretty sure someone didn't do his job. Aside of guns and other tools, even a brand name there is alsways faulty product that comes out of the factory. Atlease you got your money back and bought something else, i would. I'm sorry but I really must point out that your rail is not free flouting, it's a snap in replacement for the plastic forend- it's still in contact with your barrel using the same plate on your front gas block.. this means it's still influencing your shots downrange.

@Vyppaaa11 I have not seen one or get my hands on it but i heard few good things on them. they're cheaper because it is missing the forward assist and the dust cover, but you get a built in exteneded trigger guard. it's M&P it should be good.

yeah it looks like it is not a free float coz there is that delta ring and that end cap on it, im not sure if youve seen the installation of this specific handguard. there are four set screws in front of the delta ring that is attached on the actual barrel nut, and the end cap still exist in front but it does not touch the handguard. i hope i can make a video on this later on coz at the moment im tied up with school and i don't have a good camera to use.

honestly i am also new to AR, i had couple cheap optics and didn't get what i expected so i saved up to get a Eotech and its worth what i paid for, i have not tried like aimpoint, they have some good reviews on them so pick your choice bro. but aimpoint you have to buy the optic and the mounting kit vs. eotech the mounting hardware is built in. Quad rail was the first mod i did on my carbine and i believe that is a good start to do the mods.

@Vyppaaa11 There pretty accurate but I wouldve gone with the m&p 15 ps because if you ever get a jam in a bad situation the forward assist would come in handy but they shoot the same

yeah it looks like it is not a free float coz there is that delta ring and that end cap on it, im not sure if youve seen the installation of this specific handguard. there are four set screws in front of the delta ring that is attached on the actual barrel nut, and the end cap still exist in front but it does not touch the handguard. i hope i can make a video on this later on coz at the moment im tied up with school and i don't have a good camera to use.

honestly i am also new to AR, i had couple cheap optics and didn't get what i expected so i saved up to get a Eotech and its worth what i paid for, i have not tried like aimpoint, they have some good reviews on them so pick your choice bro. but aimpoint you have to buy the optic and the mounting kit vs. eotech the mounting hardware is built in. Quad rail was the first mod i did on my carbine and i believe that is a good start to do the mods.
