  • i did this all last winter! i love birds.

love em. nice film, bad handling.

  • poor bird.. i saw one of these in california with a crab trap stuck on it's neck..we cut him free, but as he ran away he kept falling and he wouldn't fly..i think something was wrong with it's wings :(

is the bird in the video tranquilized?

  • no hes not tranquilized jus has a very good holder :D

  • after watching again i want to add that the handler should have been supporting the birds chest by cradling the birds underside in her hand certainly not pressing down on its back the chest bones r made for water n r very delicate we lost some loons from the pressure of their own bodies out of water on their chest created lesions that very quickly coupled w/stress took their breath away the tears made us work w/o thought of our own pains many did more hours than i n i did over 100 in a week

  • Excellent video! Five stars! Thank you for all you do to rescue, rehabilitate, and release these beautiful birds. Without your devoted and excellent care, this bird would have died....
