One of my all-time favorite Sonny & Cher songs. It's true that Sonny couldn't really sing, but the fact that he knew he wasn't really talented in this area is amusing. Also, the blend of their voices TOGETHER was oddly mesmerizing and listenable. Their songs always bring a smile.
Wasn't there, when I found this clip 2 months ago the names of the composers named in the intro? Why have you dropped them? It was only due to this that I realised it was not written by Sonny Bono, not even for Sonny & Cher originally, but for Kenny Rogers.
Perhaps THE BEST Sonny and Cher duet EVER. This is the best concise recording of it. There is a live version of it that also rocks, but it does go on and on.
