lol love the ending!!! it's like Hangover the movie :))) kinda :)) would make a great ad, you should charge them for it :))) Oris, give this man another Sebenza damn it!!!...and me too just btw ;))
seiko does not use E,T,A. seiko is jap crap, E,T,A is a swiss brand that furnishes Tag heuer, Breitling and so on, if your watch has E,T,A movement it is at least $1,500 bucks and most of that price is just in the movement, so you got a nice watch there.
top video boognish, I`m going to get one of these with the titanium strap, are you still wearing your Oris and is it still putting a smile on your face?
purchased the 47mm Titan 1000m all Titanium 2 weeks ago, brilliant watch, only loosing about 1 second a day, looks lovely and very happy, thansk for the info and keep wearing your Oris in good health :)
I am desperately looking for this particular watch. I have called authorized dealers from CA to NY and it seems that Oris has discontinued this model with the exhibition case back. I could possibly settle for the 1000m, but this 300m is what made me fall in love with this watch. Great video and if you have any info on any of these available, please PM me.
the new oris watches have redesigned better clasp on them, and there can be variances between hot and cold temps. which can cause your watch to gain or loose time, plus the fact that mechanical watches need servicing every 2-3 years in most cases.
Nice watch! I love Oris. I sold them briefly in a watch store. Great alternative to the mainstream and well-priced. I will likely replace my Omega Seamaster Pro with an Oris diver.
archman would reccomend a luminox for rafting. great lumination rubber strap and 200m water resist. i live in uk so had to go on web to get one.also have an oris and
would agree great watches at reasonable price.keep making the vids
It loses between 10 and 4 minutes a month!?! That is horrible. You most definitely have a problem with the watch. Oris makes great watches and even without chronometer certification it should not lose or gain more than a minute or two tops. I have an extensive watch collection and have nothing with that kind of discrepancy. You need to have Oris look at it.
Oris is a great watch. I've owned quite a few watches in my life and I think you get a lot of watch for the money in Oris. I have the 300M diver in blue bezel and I absolutely love it, maybe even more than some of the higher end watches. Great taste in watch, just like your great taste in blades. 5/5
@rezzoro7 THANKS man! ... yeah it's a great tool so far! Now that I'm back on the river I need to get something better suited for losing. ...Maybe a Gshock?
@iAMboognish hey whats up if you really want a rugged watch that is comparable to this brand and is swiss made try Ball watch co. they use gas tritium tubes for there hour markers which stay constantly lit for 25 years and its temp. resistant to -200degrees and shock proof to 7,000G's check them out they would be excellent for your activities
Iv'e owned a few mechanical Swiss watches, and also a Oris Stainless steel divers, and after owning these watches I would say they need to be serviced every year which will cost a small fortune, they keep poor time, overall they a a poor choice, I would only ever want want purely for the asthetic value of the watch, I have feild tested many watches through the years, both Sieko and Citizen, would rate Citizen over Sieko but would buy a traser.
I know nothing about watches, but I just got a citizen with eco-drive and quartz movement and I'm pretty impressed with the eco-drive. The battery is supposed to only degrade to 80% capacity in 20 years and like 50% in 40 years.
It would be cool if it had tritium, but the blue lume it uses is pretty awesome and last a decent amount of time if charged in good light. I dont have the sapphire on mine, but I might upgrade to it when my face gets too scratched up.
Great watch. I love Manual Automatics. I had a Tag Heuer Carrera which worked great. I was damaging it too much kayaking so I sold it.. but it lost about 3-5minutes a month. I found that if you never take it off it keeps better time because its always fully wound.
Could those spring bars actually be so the watch will break off in an emergency? For me having had my hand sucked into a machine because my protective gear didn't give; I see it as a plus that gear has a reasonable breaking point or a quick release.
You mentioned Seiko, well I always say that a watch should be swiss made, with swiss technic! The Seiko uses japanese technic that you could buy with any cheap "fashion" watch like D&G, Police, Ck... etc.
My watch btw is a Doxa and I love it... do you know that brand?

Try the Rolex Explore 1 watch man. It's worth the money.

You should use a Nato watch band. The way they are worn even if one of your spring bars break, you won't lose your watch.

@janevski I was thinking the same thing. Something has to give, your hand/arm is worth more than any watch.
