  • thats match point! holy shite.

  • What's so amazing about a down the line forehand winner? It's a fairly frequent shot in the tour and Federer isn't even the best at it.

  • @remnant24 It's because this is match point, federer saved a match point with this brilliant forehand, thats what make it so special

  • 0:08-0:21 lol best part of the video

  • tennis vids don't work on youtube

you can't see the fuckin ball

  • show us where the ball fucking went

  • Comment removed

  • lol, i use eastern..

different techniques adapt to different grips i spose

  • @mareleblond98 it isn't eastern....eastern is for a one-handed backhand, he uses a semi-western grip for his forehand which isn't that unusual.

  • this one was to save match point...

he went on to win the tie-break and then won easily in the final against agassi, handing him even a bagle set

the real beginning of darth Federer

  • tht was timed to perfection

  • pay attention to federer's dribble before hitting the forehand.

He hits on the 5th CRAB step.

  • that looked awesome =)

  • fuckin annoying, u dip shit.

  • i thought superhuman ablilities weren't allowed in tournaments

  • @tetriminos lol!!!!!!!!! they are!!!!!!!!!!

  • look at the footwork

    racquet speed

    spectacular forehand

    s'all i can say

    wow 0_0

  • i think this video is really annoying

  • how fast are his forehands?? my best clocked at 52 mph

  • ca. 100 mph

  • that impact was evil

  • I saw it the first two times you showed it.

  • maybe natural spin not topspin coz that has a lot of pace and it's really flat and penetrating^_^

  • that had a lot of top spin for sure

  • i can't see the ball

  • man, I know you are a huge fan of him, but you don't have to replay it for so many times

  • this is not mine sorry

  • jaja talented? nadal is a crap

  • @azasel Yeah, that's why he has beaten Federer 14 times and lost to him only 7 times. Plus, he's the world #1. I understand this is your video, but it still doesn't let you talk bullshit.

  • @explodingpimp so nadal is the best of the best of the best?? jajaja please don´t be ridiculous.

  • @azasel Did I ever say that? Dont put words in my mouth. If you think Nadal is a crap, then you have no idea what you're talking about. It's obvious that you're a Federer fanboy. And to that, take this: NADAL IS THE WORLD NUMBER 1, AND HE HAS BEATEN FEDERER MORE TIMES THAN HE HAS LOST TO HIM.

  • @explodingpimp Jjajajaja you are gay that explain all jajajaja

  • @explodingpimp What do you mean beating federer 14 times means that rafa is better than federer? that's nonsense. What I mean is to beat 16 grand slam titles I would consider rafa is the best.

  • love this man so much.

it is simply horrible to see him loose against someone not talented like nadal.

  • dammnm

his forehand is like a whip

  • Well, I know you must be a fan of Roger Federer but this is just ridiculous. One star.

  • if don´t like it don´t see it. this video is not mine

  • dont talk shit about Roger Federer what do you know about tennis? . Roger Federer is the best tennis player in the world he won 13 grand slam he is going to break the record he won 5 us open and 5 wimbledon so this is fact you are just angry fan.

  • That happens with great players, a new generation of great players arrive and the older player starts losing to lower ranked players.....it's happened to all the greats and will happen to Nadal when he get's older.

  • 13 grand slams and he is not good...wow! WTF ARE U SAYING??????

  • he was good... he's just not playing well now. he is not confident now and is losing to lesser players. in 2006 there was no question that he was the best. 2007 he was still the best but was being upset early in some tournaments. in 2008 nadal was the best. federer's achievements hve been great, yes, but he isn't consistently beating everyone now.

  • ok..now i agree

  • You should also consider the fact that Sampras himself did not win a title for 2 years before capture his final title. The 2002 US Open. There will also be Nadal's turn, that's life.

  • Federer was ill early on in 2008 and he didn't even really know about it. So he was a lot more tired and ran out of stamina, lack of concentration without knowing. Then when he knew during mid 2008, he started to play safe, take less risk, but if he plays like that he'll lose, that's why he lost most of the finals that year. Now he is slowly getting back into shape very carefully, he'll get back cause his playing style is good and his age is still good for him.

  • A year ago, the Canadian dollar overcame the Us one for slight moment and they were about even for a while. It was not that the Canadian economy went much greater although it did a tiny bit; it was the American economy that was going down.

Nadal is our Canadian dollar; he didn't start to beat Federer for that he was suddenly quite better, although he did improved his play, he got Federer because the main man was going down.

Nadal is a very solid and good player, but Roger is simply too great.

  • that does not mean he is not great.....He IS great....but happened with Sampras, Agassi, etc....and someday, it will happen to Rafa too...

  • lol there are really such things as lifetime passes to roger federer games...and for 200,000 pounds? are u serious lol

  • You are the best at talking non-sense thing

  • OHHH MYYYY GAAAD AMAZING TOPSPIN :D

  • man im a nadal fan but that forehand is outstanding unique- what a punch

  • best best shot in the game

  • It was a match point for agassi, the match is one the best of federer.

  • This is great video!!

  • show where it landed ffs

  • the man with the greatest forehand of all-time!

  • damn I miss the days when Roger used to take balls so early and just pounce on them.nowadays;there's spin and he's on the defense a lot and is staying 1 feet behind the baseline

he used to hit so hard back in 05-06

  • it was match point for Agassi right????

  • there were 5 sets

  • no it was match point!

  • Positive

  • positive?

  • His footwork was what made the shot so good

  • that repetition is so gay...gets on my nerves

  • This is the best forehand ever. An inside-in forehand is the hardest shot because it requires lightning footwork to get in position and lots of topspin to hit it over the highest part of the net. Try doing that and hitting it at 100mph. Only Federer can.

  • That wasnt an inside out fore-hand.

  • agreed but when you go down the line, they call it and in side in forehand.

  • the net being taller doesn't matter because of the distance from where he was to the part of the net, in the middle and at the high part.

  • great video. I try to imitate his extreme eastern forehand but only a true genius can do that. So instead I change to western which work just as well without the grace of federer.

  • He doesn't have an extreme eastern forehand.

  • windshield wiper forehand.

  • THAT WAS ONE A HELL OF A SUPER KILLER!

  • Nadal can't do a thing like that.

  • thats one way to save a match point...

  • you're title shoulda been 'FEDERER FOREHAND' without the amazing, because everybody knows it's gonna be amazing anyway

  • This would be a nice NIKE add entitled:

    AIR FOREHAND BY FEDERERER

  • so you DO have to flick your wrist on forehands. i need to work on that.

  • watch out with that "flicking" thing, you could be wrong. I actually know about these things, what exactly do you mean by it? if it means throwing or "flicking" your wrist forward, you shouldn't do that

  • he might have did it so well because he hold a smaller handle

  • que barbaro este hijueputa

  • how annoying can a video be?

  • this forehand right here is so different of what it became from 2004-2008;he's just like almost completely brushing vertically the back of the ball here, now he goes through it more adding a lot of pace and it doesn't look like this anymore

  • no se como pegarle asi a la pelota quien me puede explicar?

  • Fed's flying!

  • look how long he holds his eyes on the ball, keeping his head down through the shot. that's concentration right there.

  • the reason this shot is so amazing is because it seemed like Federer was hitting an inside out forehand to Agassi's backhand, but instead hit it to the deuce side which completley caught Agassi off guard.

  • This video is so stupid, it should be flagged.

How may times do you have to repeat THE SAME THREE SECONDS OF VIDEO before it becomes excessive?

You show the video of his forehand once, then replay it once or twice, not twenty times!

  • It's so great it needs to be repeated alot of times man

  • you dont understand, its stupid if you watch this vid in normal state, but if you get high it totally awsome as it is...

  • Henin had the great judgment to retire while at number one. Federer should do the same.

There are too many upcoming talents for federer to hold number one for much longer

  • interesting you mention that..I wonder if in his thirties fed will be able to maintain his number 1 ranking..im sure there will be other guys like rafa and novak coming up..it´s exciting

  • federer has reached 2 gs finals and a semi as well as a couple of other finals, the ao loss coming when he was feeling the mono as well as fatigue following the earlier 5set win over tipsarevic. he was a handful of points away from another wimbledon. he'll probalby win the us open andn the masters cup since nadal burns out at this time of the year and djokovic is off-form but still cocky. and this is a "bad" year for fed, + he's 26 or something. no, he's not going anywhere for a while my friend!

  • i couldn't even see the ball for a second!! where did it go anyway?!!

  • lmao

  • he's ice cold. even when it's match point for agassi he still pulls that forehand off.

  • That was amazing! In one of them it looks like the ball is going to get past him then he just uses incredible racket speed and whips straight through it. The racket is a blur even in slow-mo!

  • I wantd to see the finish of the stroke but the repeat cut it too short.

his forehand's like a storm with his head as the center of it.

  • Roger's forehand is just out of this world. he is so amazing.love him

  • It is a

    [K]Factor Six One Tour 90

  • the repeating is gay

  • This amazing!!!! Yes, I agree. he was much better when he was younger...anyway...he is amazing!!!

  • wow alot of topspin he was better when he was younger now hes losing....even to andy roddick!!!!!

  • hes using the prostaff tour 90.. i have this stick

  • supposed to be prostaff tour 90, but it may be an 85, just painted to look like the 90. lots of pros get paint jobs including safin. he still uses the prestige tour 600, but gets paint jobs.

  • Bullshit, are you retarded. This is a Prostaff Tour 90. 4 years old

  • wow r yall retarded? its the pro staff tour 95!! the blade? r u kidding it wasn't even out back then and if it was roger wouldn't use it hes has too much power in his strokes for 'that racquet! i meen i use it but that racquet is way too light for him!

  • it can't be the K-blade, that racquet recently came out, but it might be a predecessor of the K-blade

  • maybe N Code 90

  • does anyone know which racket was this one?or the one he used at the AO 2004?

  • probably a customized nTour, pros get heavier and smaller headsizes than what is commercially avaliable to people.

  • I have this racket i think, i think it was a prostaff, but i might be wrong

  • It's probably the prostaff six-one tour 90

  • isnt it a Hyper Pro staff like 7.6 that says "hyper carbon" around the frame?i have one that looks like this one,it may be pro staff

  • Its like a whip D:

  • He actually framed it a little.

  • _|_

  • Y not show us where the ball landed??

  • Lol..

  • hope none of yall are epileptic

  • very irritating vid

  • please just one more replay

  • i more wanna see where the ball landed?

  • man that forehand was so cool

  • Horrible video!

  • wait i need to see his forehand one more time replay it again

  • rofl

  • what a poor video !

  • te felicito por este video, es lo mejor que he visto por la riqueza técnica que encierra para el que lo sepa ver y apreciar, para los demás....comentarios boludos. Gracias

  • wow that was like the disappearing swing from PoT

  • Lol annoying repeat but awesome hit

  • any1 noticed hes changed it since then??, straighter arm, less wrist now

  • that is for the most part a straight arm forehand

  • this a was matchpoint for agassi. federer won the match 2 points later...

  • drops racket with a loose wrist and lashes dat ball at fuck knows how many mph+=)

  • whoa so much wrist action

  • not much, he just lets the racket swing thru

  • its also freakin amazing that this shot came at 7-6 in the tiebrake last set huh

  • is it?

  • thats a forehand.

  • rogers done better...=/

  • i love roger :)
