I did this on my iPhone 3GS 4.3.3 and it unlocked my phone completely to where I could search anything and use anything but it stopped working /: that sucks
guys this is how you do it, first go to your "enter your pass code" screen, then press and hold both the home button and the power button, and wait for few seconds until you can see the apple sign appear teh screen, let go of the power button and still hold the home button, it should say connect your usb to iTunes, this is called recovery mode, open itunes and it will say your iphone/ipod is in recovery mode, then press ok, then press the restore button and yeah, repeat this twice or three times
