@Bl00dxD3m0n Yeah the wind was allowing the flames to tear though the brush. I shot a 20 second video on a crap digital and within that time the fire had advanced 20 feet!
@wrinkey Because the ground is on a peat base the fires travel underground and spring up somewhere else obviously aided by the wind. I was on a run over the other side of the Crowthorne to Sandhurst link road heading back towards Crowthorne when I first saw the fire. It has since spread west towards Butter Hill, Edgebarrow and Broadmoor Hospital, also igniting along the new Wokingham Road

Where abouts are you when you shot this ? I live in forest park and have never seen any smoke at all !? Is it more towards crowthorne ?
