  • I just dropped a big block in my 79 k5. I picked up some $50 headers and they're pretty big, but not big enough to go outside the frame like this, but not shallow enough to go inside. I'd either have to flare them way out or get some made like what you got. Wasn't too expensive, was it?

  • @hotrods100 your a fucking idiot freeze plugs go in the side of the block so if your coolant freezes it will push the plugs out so you dont crack your block. Freeze plugs have absolutely nothing to do with you exhaust

  • The color is all that looks like a 350. If it was a small block chevy the center two header pipes would be close together, on a big block they are evenly spaced (like that one)

  • hey kid just so you will sound like you know what your talking about in the future,a 360 is a small block if its mopar (and it probably is).now ford made a 360 big block but it would be a pooch in a jeep id say,his is probably a dodge motor

  • what is mopar? and i said it is a big block. and dodge, jeep, and crystler is a single company making three different "brands" of vehicles. so i wouldnt be suprised if the engine is a dodge engine.

  • i think you missed my point a jeep with a 360 that engine is a small block not a big block.and mopar is a generalized term for deimler chrystler product,who makes all of the dodge jeep eagle and several others.ive been a car builder for 15 years i know its you who needs to take notes lolthe 360 was also produced by ford but it was a totally different motor but the same cubic inches.

  • Yes I understand that. Although there are many similar clips on You tube that come across without the distortion (I'm a sound engineer), hence it is possible to record a monster engine sans mufflers. Perhaps resetting the camera's audio record level might help. All in all a bad audio recording makes a bad impression of what would otherwise be a great sounding engine clip.

  • Sounds great ! got a question im running a 454 with a holley 750 double pump edel performer intake 280 comp cam and headers about the same size as yours,question is do you have any idea what degree the timing should be ive had nothing but a pain trying to set it.Also im running a th400 auto trany with a b&m transpak,its seems to be ok in manual but in drive it slow and the gear changes are to quik???Any help would be great!!It seems like you no what your doing ha ha!Sweet motor what year?
