  • MotoX not a bad list u have there but i would take out Chara for defo, theres been a lotta great enforcers in the game but wot about.(Clark Gillies,Terry O'Reilly,Domi,Behn Wilson,Paul Laus and i think one of the best except for injuries Larry Playfair.List is endless and the list i give,i wouldnt fite any of them lol...

  • "I would rather rub a cougar's rear end with sand paper than fight Joe Kocur."

    -Harry Neale

  • Kocur won this fight

  • his son was on my hockey team :)

  • I think it's too difficult to consider anyone the best NHL fighter. There were too many who just fucked people up. Joey Kocur, Bob Probert, Marty McSorley, Zdeno Chara, Sheldon Souray, Reed Low, Eric Godard, Colton Orr, Derek Boogaard... too many great ones. Not all were the greatest fighters but most of them wouldn't back down to anyone who'd drop the gloves. As for toughest active fighter I'd have to go with Chara or Godard. Probably Godard since Chara is a defenseman.

  • Godard? He doesnt even fight that often!

    Chara? Over sized deformed monster.

Boogaard? Same as Chara, but has less skill.

  • Chara? No. Abosuytly not. He just cant fight with any of the heavyweights. Watch him, he clearly is scared and attempts to throw them down. He only ever threw like one punch and it was a cheap shot on Ivanas while he was on the ground. Chara is a big strong guy but not a heavyweight or even close. Godard on the other hand is an animal.

  • Brashear, Laraque, McGrattan, Grimson, Belak, Brown, Simon, McCarthy (Calgary days only), Twist, Berube, Laus, Parker

  • Ah a list of greats. I was a huge Brown fan, and many said he hit the hardest, but I don't know...Joey Kocur man...Such insane power. Honestly I can't remember him clearly losing a fight!

  • @lakeerie90s what are you saying?hes fought most of these guys and beat them.pull some other names out of your hat.

  • Paul Laus was the best fighter ever had

in nhl history. Joey is very good too

  • Unlike Probert's fights, which could be marathon events, most of Kocur fights were brief, like 30 sec. tops.

  • kocur could hit. oh boy, could he hit.

  • Kocur was real tough, had a wicked right hand!!

  • Damn, Kocur was tough. He clearly won this one

  • fuck domi, fuck probie, fuck every great fighter in the history of the nhl, joey was the most brutal, most fierce, and overall best fighter of all time.

  • @kidstatik3

    sorry dude, Probert was king.

  • @cotillion i agree!!

  • Tom Reid doing the color commentary?

  • Yep.

  • too young to remember any stars games, so i don't know the crew

  • Gaetz looked like Ivan Drago.

  • Ah yes ... the NHL before Gary Bettman

    ruined it ...

  • Gaetz Got little to no recognition. I remember the first year that San Jose was in the league, he and Odgers wreaked havoc in arenas across the continent.

  • I loved Odgers. when ever the sharks were clearly gonna lose, he would go and fight someone. Since they weren't so good at the time he had to fight a lot.

  • How Gaetz survived those uppercuts is beyond me.. Wow!

  • ya man lol

  • The 2 toughest in the league at that time.....abd 2 of the all time greatest

  • gaetz was tough as hell. he took those bombs and didn't go down. but i wouldn't say the two toughest at the time. probert-kocur, or probert-brown as far as all time greatest link wasn't in the nhl long enough to rank at all
