@westdog54 Yeah, that's it as - as a Saints fan I would say the umpiring was heavily in favour of Adelaide in the first half. Sure, they were blitzing the Pies this way and that regardless but they pretty much had free licence to play rugby and there was an absurd amount of random frees to them out of packs where no visible and clear infringance was seen.

@westdog54 Funny how Adelaide fans bitch about this - their backline do so much grabbing and holding behind play and get away with it all the time - so good to see such a brave and unclouded call in a final.

Calling it game of the year is a big stretch - most of it was awful - though Collingwood's 3rd quarter surge was exhilirating and the finale goal-trade was epic, it's hard to top some of the more energetic and even displays seen this year.
