  • I heard this exact sound...just one brief episode...at 3:50 am camping next to the Klamath River about 30 miles north of the Hoopa Reservation boundary. Happened about three days ago. Scared the shit out me. Took me about an hour to go back to sleep.

  • that was a whippoorwill

  • So you only recorded through the Mic?..

    you didn't have no camera?

    where were you?

    what happened after that?

    I know, I believe in those......sasquatch..

  • how do u know its a bigfoot?

  • i saw them

  • that is a person whistling into a mic at close range. notice the breath sounds.

  • you are right, bigfoot are often refferred to by native culture as a People. But they were not whistling directly into the mic, I had to amplify the sound considerably

  • Not sure if my comment went through, I'll try again, Where are you located? I am interested to know what other details you are reluctent to talk about on here.

I myself have heard whistles too, and now my husband and I whistle the first bar of row your boat, in hopes it will continue to learn by mimicry!

  • this was just west of vancouver BC 30 miles or so

  • I think nobody was asking for your opinion.

  • i think you need to get a life

  • Bigfoot can whistle from his asshole

  • Sounds like a typical whistle produced with a human mouth.

  • Just as the clappinmg of a primate hand might sound, to the untrained ear, exactly like that of a human...

  • these whistles were recorded the night we were rendered unconscious and had the fingerprints the next day on the hood of the car

  • HERE BOY, SIT. GOOD BOY.

  • I think it may be a sasquatch but why would one want to sneak up on you?

  • Two things come to mind when listening to this clip:

    1. The whistle is completely inconsistent with known recordings of Sasquatch whistles; and,

    2. This particular whistle sounds very much like it's originating close to the microphone. (Too close)

I reserve the right to be skeptical on this one.

  • i have heard this whistler in multiple locations. As far as close goes, yes i agree with too close. The night these whistles were recorded, I photographed the very large finger prints see in the other sequence. There were also multiple visuals of multiple BF that night by multiple associates of mine.

So yes, CLOSE, would be an understatement in this case. The full details of what did transpire that night I will release at some point.

  • trailriderresearch,

Interesting. I look forward to the full details.

Without giving away the precise location (for obvious reasons), where did these encounters occur? BC? Saskatoon? Alberta? North-Western USA?

Also, will you be making these audio recordings available for download in a non-compressed format?

  • interesting
