  • I was surprised to find out that the melody of this song was written by the great Charlie Chaplin!

  • Bobby Rydell should be quite old now, must be over 70, .... all these people are your teenage idols,...Lake Tahoe is good place to meet them, I've seen video, Elvis was there as well in the 70s.....

  • I get to see him when he comes to Lake Tahoe. All these singers, Rydell Fabian and Avalon grew up in the same neighborhood (Philledelphia) along with others...

  • A very lovely evergreen! Thanks for posting it to YT!!

  • @tkyaheya You're welcome...

  • Hi Terry,

    I enjoyed this song.

I hear this song at my Aunt's house, sometimes.... But I didn't know the name of the song. Until I watched this video.

I hope you you have a really nice week !

    Best regards! : )

  • @IamHelenKeller So glad you like it as well, this is one of my precious collection..thanks for listening & all the best !!

  • For you Kuya Peping and Ate Mely, what a lovely song..

  • I love this song..........just don't know when this song was recorded? Would anyone know?

  • @nancyfloressantos It was published with 'I wanna thank you' as the flip side,so it should be around Sep 1961.

  • A very rare Bobby Rydell. One of my top two Bobby favourites. Lovely post.

  • @berniesbird My number one Bobby Rydell song, which one is your second choice..

  • @shatinterry His cha cha cha.

  • @berniesbird I think my second choice should be Butterfly Baby,or his version of sway..

  • The melody I have been missing and it is here now.

  • @jocy0403 My favorite Bobby Rydell song....he sang it with so much passion..

  • I love this song.......memories of my childhood.

  • @FelicityAnne0509 Yes I love this song so much, heard it from the radio so often, It;s not on any of Bobby Rydell's Best Hit album. I finally had a chance to get a copy from the local flea market, I was so pleased with that at the time...

  • I saw Bobby Rydell in a show at the Olympia (I believe) in Detroit, about 1959. Very cute and talented. Always a great entertainer!

  • I haven't seen him doing live..only on youtube..

  • I remember Bobby's act especially - even more than Frankie Avalon - because for a couple of numbers, Bobby had his drum set on stage, and was singing and playing drums! Fifty years ago, but I remember it well!

  • Yes, I saw him playing drum on youtube video as well...

  • 1961 song grade5 memories.
