The woman that plays the Canadian does a terrible job at acting Canadian. She doenst even speak with the correct accent, she jokes at the start with saying eh, yet thats the last you here of it. When shes normaly speaking to the other Characters she uses huh. Terrible acting
Curious to see this - although the preview hasn't filled me with hope. I walked the Camino last October, and had a profound affect. Interested to see how they go capturing the spirit / vibe of the way. Martin Sheen is a top actor, so if anyone can pull it off it would be him. For those interested, I shot a mini-documentary about my Camino. Check out my uploaded videos to take a look.
I just watched it and they have tried to make a movie about a man on a profound journey and sure the scenery is nice but overall it's just disappointing. All the characters are stereotypes. The alkoholic Irish, the Dutch with the drugs... every character's move and development is predictable. I don't know but any documentary about trail with real people and real emotions is much more worth watching.
looks great, i rather watch martin sheen than charlie, for the obvious reason that charlie isnt acting anymore, he's just a junkie with alot of excuses.
Last June on the camino we passed the spot where this story starts. A special moment an food for thought. We continue in Pamplona next June and I'll most certainly will walk this year in the presence of "the way"
The Way of Santiago and Fisterra is much older than Christianity and has a Celtic and Pagan origin. Galicia (the last archaeological theories locate in Galicia the origin of European Celtic Civilization) was seen at the end of the world. The magnificent music of the movie is the galician celtic band Berrogüetto (search by "Berrogüetto" on Youtube).
Is this TNF commercial?

This film is full with terrible cliché's (like most American films).
But if you can look through that, it's an amusing film but not in my top 100.
