  • I remember when I brought a carton of Ribena and it had no straw so I sent a letter to the manfacturors and they sent me lots of free merchandise, a keyring, a glass, a pen, a soft toy (which I still havebecause it is cute) and lots more.

  • they are blackcurrants drinking blackcurrant juice

  • @frocto1 CANNOBOLISM!

  • @habbototaladdict45 Yes you are right I just thought of that, they are drinking their own species's blood

  • Woooo

  • This ad sucks my dick

  • Is Leslie Crowther still living? If not, how and when did he die and how old was he?

And screw Glaxosmithkline for being responsible for making a product like this! (I'm not British, so I assume they were responsible?)

  • Leslie Crowther had a car accident on the M5 which brought his entire stage and TV career to an end on 3rd October 1992. He died four years later of heart failure, aged 63. You can read about it on wikipedia.

  • What life threatening injuries did he sustain in the accident, and what is the M5?

Also, I do not use Wikipedia because I fear that something that is not true might appear on the site.

  • @jakobluke His car overturned several times. He was returning from opening some Allied Carpet stores in West Bromwich. The accident occurred on the M5 near Cheltenham. What happened will never be known, but he was very busy with Lord Taverner's functions, as he was the president at the time. His mother in law died 3 days before, and it is speculated he fell asleep at the wheel.

  • @Kevinasp He went across the motorway, hit the central reservation barrier. The Police who found him said he didn't seem too bad and joked with them and climbed out. When he was taken to hospital, he seemed ok apart from having a cracked neck bone but was kept in. Then he suddenly deteriorated and a blood clot had formed on the left-hand side of his brain. A four hour operation was needed to remove it and he nearly died during it.

  • @Kevinasp Then, two days later, another blood clot formed at the same side of the brain and a two and a half hour operation was needed to remove that. He was in a coma for 17 days but pulled through.

  • This would be between February 1991 and about June 1992. Crowther had a contract for voice overs with sky that ran between September 1991 and September 1992, just before his accident which ended his TV and stage career.

  • I remember this being a fan of Leslie Crowther. This was one of the last jobs he did before his accident in October 1992, he was also doing a lot of voice-over work for SKY TV at the time.
