There was this Spanish test a while ago. I went to the room where we had to meet up I noticed this shy but good looking girl standing near me. I was talking to this dude of her class while she suddenly turned her face towards me (she had her back towards me at first) and asked for a pen. could this mean she wanted to build up a conversation but was too shy? I asked her some basic things but her replies were rather short.

@kevincoool99 talk to her.. the hardest part is just accepting that you MIGHT get rejected. Everyone gets rejected at some point. What's the worst that could happen? You ask her out and she says no.. well your right where you started. Only, if you never ask her, she can't ever say yes. Why do you think you see so many nice shy girls with outgoing assholes? Shy girls get lonely too, and when the only ones talking to them are the "assholes" then she starts to think that's what she deserves

Geez...I'm female and I've had a shy girl into me before. It was unbelievably obvious. It really should not be difficult to tell when a shy girl is into you! Some take rejection as being 'the other person's loss', but shy people see rejection as stupidity on their part for even thinking the other person might like them. Shy people also assume that they don't have anything that would make them attractive to someone else. They can always think of 1,001 reasons why someone they like won't like them back. So yes, saying "I'm interested in you." is very hard for many.
