  • great project well done.

  • put clothes on dusch bag

  • To - @landrumhunter

    Why, numb nuts?

  • u in ur underwear

  • To - @wheelin20

    Nope, Russell Sports shorts.

  • you want torque ? take a 2 speed gearbox while building ;)

  • To - @christiaan12nl

When you say "take a 2 speed gearbox" do you mean Make a 2 speed gearbox? Much easier Said that Done!!

  • @rcWizzard seriously is everything you made of that truck self made o.o? except the engine =)?

  • To - @christiaan12nl

Other items I did not make are the center Transfer Case, Drive Shaft and brakes.

  • @rcWizzard i thought you even use the differential from an other car. i thougth from a baja buggy

  • To - @christiaan12nl

Oops, my bad. Yes, the diff inside the axle housing is from a HPI 5B, with custom machined bevel gears fitted to it.

  • @rcWizzard okey nice ^^ what are you actually goin to do with it when it's done ? send to a factory so they can buy it from you for production ? or sell it on your own ?

  • To - @christiaan12nl

When done, I'm going to enjoy it, play with it, run it at Diggers Dungeon.

  • @rcWizzard well it's a really nice project ^^ how lang did it take to the last part for building ? and how much money did you spent on it ?

  • To - @christiaan12nl

    Thanks.

Been working on it for about 5 years. Cost so far is around 5k, not including the engine.

  • Where can I get a bigger engine with traney

  • To - @JccBlazer

    Go to ConleyPrecision. com

  • the real grave digger does not pull a wheely off the line.

  • @blownutsmyass N°7 did

  • put some pants on

  • doesn't really look like a 1950 chevy panel van guessing its not done

  • y r u in ur underwere

  • To - @lionben1

    They're Russell Sports shorts.

Dude, you need to work on your spelling.

  • @lionben1 You want him to be naked instead huh? ;p

  • where did you get the body :)

  • @xav33302

I vacuum formed it on the wood mold. Check out part 10.

  • @rcWizzard ah , do u remember whe itold u u forgot the XX on the front ??? well since i suppose u havent done it yet why not call it number XXV or somthin like that since u got a other driver

  • @xav33302 he made it

  • @xav33302 Virginia industrial plastics. ;D

  • To - @stonefacex

No, made the body in my basement.

    Check out part 10.

  • if you make more bodys cover the truck in one big sheet of foil

  • @turneynicholas

One big sheet of foil, ??? what are you talking about!!!

  • u shirt is off!!!

  • @mtrsport1

    Shoes too!!!

  • What is the price tag for an r/c project like this? I like it thou...

  • @BrothrBob

Parts only is around 5k, including the engine.

  • you should do front and rrear turning like the real deal and put straps on the shocks like the real thing so when you hit something it doesnt just pop on the shocks so hard

  • @themaster91156

Yellow limiting straps are installed on the front.

  • that is a little light than i am.

  • Hey man. I just had an idea. I think it would be better if you put duel servos. Those tires are really big. A 1/10 scale needs duel servos and i'm pretty sure dual servo is going to increase your steering performance big time. Just a tip!

    =)

    -Ian

  • @iMakeRand0mVids

    Yes, I have 2 1/4 scale servos. 300+ torque.

  • GREAT! Are you going to buy water proof servos of "waterproof" the servos. If your going to make is water proof, visit "djmedic2008". He has a tut on how to make it water proof. I did the same for my R/C's servo. It works great! This is what his video is called. Copy and paste if your interested.

How to "Waterproof" an RC Servo - (WINTERIZE - Snow, Slush, Rain)

Although keep in mind if it will fit in the front axel. Good Luck!

    Merry Christmas dude!

  • @iMakeRand0mVids

I plan to stay away from water.

  • Oh ok... But since its inside the axel tube, wouldn't it be water sealed in there?

  • @iMakeRand0mVids

    No, the tube is open.

  • Oh.. Ok

  • dude put some clothes on

  • @HUNTERTMAXX

    Why?

  • wow lol he spent like 4 times that for like half the car!

  • AWE! this is soo coool (Y) :P i wish i could buy it off u! i cant wait to see it run (Y) :)

  • ill give you $85,000 cash!!

  • OK.

    Plus Shipping.

  • 0:09 look at the left mirror theres a half naked man taking video XD

  • do you still have it? would you sell it?

  • Yes, I still have it.

    No, not for sale.

  • not to bad

  • lol... that motor is small.. like a quarter of a litre if that but still a v8!!! it's gonna be torquey as all fuck!!! you wont need low gears!! im puttin bets on that it could still lift the front wheels at the 12:1 ratio...

  • Man I Hope so. Can't wait to find out!!!

  • you know those nitro tc cars have gearboxes that are automatic, have you tought about making one like that to this beast? i know that you can put a ratio in the transfer case or whatever but just you know... wouldn't it be just awesome if it could pop a wheelie AND go fast?

  • Interesting. I like the 1/4 scale Tbucket but $14,000 is kinda much to spend on a 1/4 scale car. I will check out the engines they have though and see what my options are. I was thinking about making a wood mold of the body and then layer it in fiberglass (i can get the fiberglass sheets and fiberglass resin repair stuff) and make my own. Just cant make the engine from scratch.

  • Looks pretty good. Years ago I was asking this guy that builds and machines the parts for those engines and I asked him on a cost of a kit of the engine that is ready to be put together. He said $2500. I wonder what their going for now since I cant find that site anymore. Likewise I was wanting to do something like this but I wanted to build a flathead powered hotrod. Or if possible a Yblock powered hotrod.

  • Check out the new version at

    ConleyPrecision. com

  • y u naked

  • y u say naked? I wearing Russell shorts.

  • seal the bondo with urethane

  • scru you

  • Dude, it just doesn't make sense to turn this into a go-cart.

  • try it you will get a lot of views

  • This is a replica Monster Truck project, Not a Go-Cart project. Search for Go-Cart to see what you want.

  • video

  • But not a good project.

  • Im not trying to be an asshole and pick on you,but you made the body messed up.The back is supposed to be long, not the front.Itis an old chevy van,not a dragster. The original truck was a mud bogging truck,a chevy delivery van with tractor tires, and evolved into a monster truck.

  • would be a good

  • Dude, you did not finish your sentence.

  • make it a go kart

  • Why?

  • im a autobody guy id make the body out of sheet metal

  • And how long would that take you to complete 1 body???

  • put on a shirt!

  • Why.

  • your a genius, i want to make an rc truck like you...one day

  • is the truck 2wd or 4wd

  • 2wd for starters. Check out earlier comments, 2 weeks ago.

  • so the little motor runs? and has real headers?

  • Yes, it Runs. Click on "More from rcWizzard" check out video Part 1.

  • i am in love with the engine and the whole thing it is sweet

  • where did you get the engine and is it really V8

  • E-Bay. YES, a 1/4 scale 4-stroke V8. Check out the new version at ConleyPrecision. com

  • The model is top notch but why didnt you make it 4 wheel drive? Isn't that what it is in the real thing?

  • I want to wait to see how my current gearing works for the rear. If it works good then I'll do a new front end with drive and steering, which will be a major Challenge. I do not have a CNC machine. It's a Smithy 3-in-1. 20 years old, But still works Great!!

  • did you build the moder?

  • Not sure what a moder is, but the Engine is by ConleyPrecision. com.

  • well i did not find it XD

  • What did you type in to get to that web site?

    Leave out spaces.

  • 0:09

Look in the door looks like hes whereing haynes

  • They're Russell shorts.

    (good grief you guys!!!)

  • Oh my bad about that.

  • 100 lbs!!!!!!! wtf!!!!

  • nice

  • thats what happens when you sell them he just probly lost his cloths

  • love the vids and truck (where the hell are your clothes?)

  • Had to sell them to get more parts for this project.

  • Why wouldn't you make it out of fiberglass? Just asking I don't know anything about RC's so i dont know

  • It would take Many hours to prepare the body to lay fiberglass on it. And the mold could not be used on my vacuum box. And the time it takes to lay several sheets of fiberglass, evenly spread the resin, the mess, the smell, the dust when sanding, cutting out the wind shield and door windows, fabricating a clear wind shield and mounting to the cut out opening. And, painting a clear body gives you a perfect shine. :-)

  • Fill the body with mono foam, and let dry!

  • Check out video part 11.

  • allways have a perfect mold to get a perfect pull. it takes me 30 mins. to layup my cloth.

  • You should make a video of it man!! A 6 foot Batmobile body, how Cool is That!!

BTW, do you have a clear windshield on your body?

  • I don't have the windshields made yet I have a co. that will use my mold to blow one for me. I will take videos of it soon and post it. BTW its the futura Batmobile.

  • why dont you make it out of carbon fiber it would be faster and easier, I made a 6' batmobile this way. It came out why better than a vacum formed body.

  • It's not the material that makes it a good or bad body, it's the Mold. How long would it take you to make a second batmobile body?

  • the servos are really chunky. arent they just a type of electric motor?

  • a servo is an electrical motor, with a gearbox and a rotation sensor put together for easy use.

  • thanks, i wondered what made them different

  • Aren't monster trucks 4 wheel drive?

  • Yes, and 4W steering.

  • u shauld get a custom supercharger made up

  • ConleyPrecision. com does make one but it will not fit my Older version V8.

  • how about a normal turbo? a turbine driven on the engines exaust pumping air into the engine. can't be so hard to make for you.

  • it would look better without the grave digger crap just leav it playn

  • Congratulation, is impressive ;)

  • why do u have ure shirt offf

  • It was Hottt.

  • lol cool vid. but now im scarred for life i see u in no shirt and boxers lolz.

  • lol

    They're Russell Mesh shorts.

  • i want that motor.....

  • You will find an even Better one at ConleyPrecision. com

  • why aren't you wearing a shirt

  • It was hot that day.

  • dude seeing your videos my dad now wants to get his own engine

  • Tell him to check out ConleyPrecision. com.

  • cool car but u should paint the orange wheels the same as the other ones

  • It's on my list.

    It's a Truck.

  • i wish that somebody made little model engines that actually worked just like the 1 u hav

  • Some body does!! Go to ConleyPecision. com his new engine is the Stinger 609.

  • A home shop is best, no hourly charge.

  • wheres your shirt and pants>??

  • I'm wearing Russel shorts. Why do you want to know where my shirt is??

  • hahaha idk, MEN ARNT AFRAID TO PROVE THEIR ABS! (im one of em) im wondering kuz usually in empty land areas lots of triggers are around and stuff lol

  • hahaha watch the window you only have boxers :P and thats and amazing project watch all your videos =)

  • i dont no much about this shit but cant you fill it with fiberglass

  • To heavy.

  • In English please!!

  • why didn't you make the front axl the same as the back.. and when aell it be done...

  • I want to wait to see how my current gearing works for the rear. If it works good then I'll do a new front end with drive and steering, which will be a major Challenge. I do not have a CNC machine. It's a Smithy 3-in-1. 20 years old, But still works Great!!

  • That would be impressive, not to say that the rest of the project isn't...

  • when are you going to finish it

  • Oh, it will be a few months.

  • where did you get the chassie

  • My basement. I built it my self.

  • Isn't it annoying how everyone asks that? You would think it would be obvious that you can't buy something like this (this cool) from f-ing walmart. But i guess i just tend to over estimate allot of people.

  • I just found this post. This is so much fun. Thanks for teaching me about sway bars in a previous episode. I've also learned a bit about vacuum forming. If the bodo is a problem, how about if you painted the mould with primer and high-temp paint and coated the whole thing with Pam cooking spray. Probably, you've already thought of that. Anyway, I'm a Chemist and if you need any chemistry help, I would love to help on this project.

  • just buy some fiberglass cloth and a bottle of resin...you have your mold right there

  • too heavy

  • if you say so...carbon fiber it is then...i dont see why he is making a big deal out of this...all this effort and money and he could of done it with some style providing he has the skills (judgeing by what he has made already he got them)

  • too expensive, anymore brain busters, theres a reason they use plastic, cheep light, reusable, and you can paint thru it so that youu dont scratch up the paint.

  • lol ever work with fiberglass or carbon fiber?? didnt think so, its not that expensive to work with...its easy to form ... paint thru the plastic...no different then spraying clear coat on the body....anymore brainstorms?

  • its cheeper, easire and the paint goes on the inside so it dosent scratch off

  • you sound like a broken record....heard ya... its not much cheaper then what this guy went thru making his own vacum box...clear coat goes over the paint to protect it....so scene boy get your facts straight

  • haha seeing as how he can use the former over and over again it will be cheeper, and did you just call me scene?... i dont think so

  • my bad...emo it is... seeing how all that is needed is either fiberglass cloth or carbon fiber cloth and resin...i cannot see cost much more then what this guy had to go thru...your simple minds must work alike

  • no, i have videos you watch them im most certainly not emo, and no everyone that does rc uses plastic, so why dont you try to convince all of them, you wont go far

  • i really want to see this truck completed. nice work it looks great! : )

  • Fiberglass is to much of a pain.

    Who said I was rich???

    Check out Video Part 10.

  • what if instead of a suction mold for the body you just used fiberglass or (if you truley are that rich) carbon fibre and painted it on the outside? be stronger too

  • put a shirt on i can see u in the reflection..........lol

  • LOL no shirt!

  • that engine is amazing! is that a fule pump on the back of it?

  • The front of the engine (rear of the truck) has a water pump.

  • so its water cooled then?

  • Yes. And the oil in the Nitro fuel handles the lubrication, there's no oil in the oil pan.

  • do you think that servo will have enough power to turn those big heavy wheels? nice project by the way.

  • With the 2 of them they should!! ?

  • they're probably low speed / very high torque servos.

  • The wheels are from a Craftsman lawn Tractor.

That V8 is not electric. Runs on Nitro fuel.

  • is that conley have a proper dohc?

  • It has a single cam.

  • oh single cam with push rods, nice

  • thats some dope engineering..respect!

  • dope engineering ??

  • dope = nice :P

  • how long untill this bad boy is done.?
