doing sub bass well takes some practice. my best tips are as follows:

remember sub bass is below 90hz...the heaviest parts come from between 40hz (bearly audible by human ear) to about 60hz,.

layer your basses. maybe like one electric bass instrument in mid range, double it ian octave lower. then use like 3osc or another vst to layer it another octave lowr than that (sub bass) as long as you have a sub bass sound and compress it well you'll be good. compression is key. get a subwoofer to mix!!

also, use pure sine waves for your sub bass. it gives you that nice boooooom. you can layer sine waves with other wave shapes (square, etc) to give it a different characteristic sound

Haha im still new to it also, but the best thing is to grasp the pattern concept. Your song is made up of many patterns, basically like building a building of legos, start with a basic beat on pat. 1, go to pat. 2 and start the melody, then paint them in on the pattern window.

yes there is. open fruity loops and go down to the very bottom of the browser. open speech up. right click any1 of them and select open in new channel. write your text and then mess around with the pitch, style, etc.
