This is real, there's video and official confirmation, and the touchscreen is just as incredible as the iPod or iPhone, except of course this has full widescreen OLED, HD radio and HDMI out. Sadly the apps might not be as incredible as iTunes has, but it's still a rockin' media player.

It seems like a sweet device so far. I currently own a Zune 80; it's very reliable and has a flowlike feel to it. If it wants to be a sizable competitor to the iPod Touch though, it will have to find a way to one-up the App store that Apple's famous for now. ive always loved the zunes marketing. these images are just another excellent example of how to go in the opposite direction from apple and its minimalist approach.

the zune is tastefully eclectic without being overly minimalist.

when the ipod was strictly a music player, the less is more GUI worked,bt its a full blown media hub now, and it has to take a "more is more" approach.
