  • I wish I could download this song... ;w;

  • Holy crap, 666 likes..

  • I found lyrics to this song. It's just a few lines, and they translate to:

"The word was black and white. Only the sky was blue.

The bulidings, people and the animals were all black. I was the only one that was white.

    I was one."

  • @piniakorin Good job! But it is: "I was alone" not "I was one." :)

  • Ya lyublyu Megurine Luka, Vocoloid, i musika Yaponskiy.

  • @Zarapov39 What coutry are you fromm~?

  • @HondaKikuLover I'm from the Republic of Kazakhstan. But i dont live there anymore, im in America now. I was trying to say: I love Megurine Luka, Vocoloid, and Japanese music. I do speak some Russian but its been a while since i used it ever since i came to the US.

  • @KohakuNoBaka What`s this mean in eeeh...normal letters?

    Im corious,i know.

  • @HondaKikuLover That means 'Oh my God' xD

  • @KohakuNoBaka I think good!Yay!

  • @KohakuNoBaka And polish is similiar to that.*w*

    Its the eeeh...ukrainish,or russian?

    Yeah,ukrainish lol

  • WOW sounds really good

    :D

  • English Lyrics:

The world was black and white...

    Only the sky was blue..

Black people and animals were in the building,

I was the only one white. I was lonely..

    Deutscher Text:

    Die Welt war schwarzweiß..

    Allein der Himmel war blau..

Schwarze Menschen und Tiere im Gebäude,

ich allein war weiß. Ich war einsam..

  • @AZXsd333 i seriously doubt thats the actual translation

  • Soviet Luka FTW!!!!!!!!!

  • When I look at the lyrics in my Project DIVA 2nd Complete Album, they make no sense to me. I don't even know what written Russian looks like.

  • <3

  • @Taisy actually, luka is bilingual, she has an english and japanese database

the database used for this song was the english one

which made it easier to reproduce russian language

  • Luka's my favorite vocaloid. Her voice is prettier than Miku's in my opinion, though I love both <3

  • @shttykitty Me too!

  • @shttykitty :DDD

  • If you stare at the video while it's doing all those funky lines and stuff it looks so freaking cool!

  • заставка интерестная, но из слов ничего не понял.

  • 繊細なのに力強いルカの声が最大限に生かされた歌だと思う...

  • I love it!!! great!

    luka rules!!!!!

  • megurine is the second best after miku...

  • guys!!! this is available on itunes!

  • Как носитель языка готов потвердить - это не русский, may be it's Esperanto?

  • Whoa. She's singing in Russian? Crazy :o

Vocaloid sure has come a long way for stuff like this to be made, huh? Thanks for the upload!

  • lol colorful xD

  • This song is pretty.

I'm glad to hear Vocaloids (especially Megurine Luka) sing in Russian.

Russian is a beautiful language. d(^__^*)b

  • wow, I love this! ^.^

  • This song sounds nice & has a pretty good beat to it.

  • OMG!! ITS THIS SONG!! the beg i was like 'i hope it is..i hope it is..i..ITS IS!' so im happy i found it

    ..wait this is russian?

it doesnt sound like it .-.

  • Megurina Luka sings really good songs. I like her, byt KASANE TETO is best

  • @KasaneToeto

    Kasane Teto isn't even a Vocaloid :/

  • @BakaMisaki They never said Teto /was/ a Vocaloid, just better, I personally think that GUMI is best~

  • я тоже

  • It sounds great I had no idea this was Russian till I read the comments so that was quite a surprise.

  • Comment removed

  • @Xiyw i'm russian and had no idea, too. The most confusing thing is wrong accents. myr byl chernO-belYm, tolkO nebO sinE

should be something like: ves mYr byl chErno-bElym, y tOlko nEbo sYnym

  • I'd love to know what she's saying in english, it sounds beautiful but also sad to a degree.

  • Ни слова не разобрал >_<

  • 4 people need to get glasses or they must die.

  • Now, finally, a combination of my love for Origa and Luka - Luka singing in Russian! Epic! <3

  • peopel are saying, oh yeah its hard for a japanese program to sing in russian. i imagine it would be, and there are probably a few problems with the song in that sense, but for someone like me who doesnt know any russian, her voice sounds perfectly beautiful and flowing. :D

  • Taisy and satoCurizane: i'm american so i have no idea what your talking about... or maby its my stupidity

  • The flow of the song is so natural, she really sounds like a real person in this one!! I <3 Luka's voice~

  • What does Filozofio mean?

  • @AoifeStair Filozofio means 'Philosophy' in Esperanto :)

  • You know, I don't mind that this is Russian and I cannot make out the individual words. First off, I never understand 99.9% of the VOCALOID songs anyways. I prefer listening to the ones less known and they don't come with subtitles. Their voice is just another instrument to me when I cannot understand the lyrics.

So, fabulous song. It is so mellow~

  • @AnimeEyes143 for anyone wondering...

    Lyrics:

白と黒の世界でした。空だけが青色でした。 Мир был черно-белым. Только небо синее.

建物も人も動物も真っ黒で、私だけが白でした。 Черные люди и животные в здание, я был единственным белым.

    一人でした。 Был один.

  • This is the best Luka song I've ever heard. New fav! <3

  • this is outstanding!!! :)

  • This is good

  • who is the author?

  • I wish Vocaloids would sing other songs in different languages ffff itd be epic to hear a vocaloid sing in Ukrainian .w.

  • It's very beautiful to hear it, then though I haven't noticed that she's singing in russian

  • holy shit. Love it~!

  • This is my favorite Luka song *////* <3

Is like Perfection for my ears xD

and the fact that apparently the song is Russian is a Plus too!

  • I just adore this so much <3333

  • This video simply lacks an Mp3 and Lyrics ^_^

    Epicness

  • i think the chorus is saying, "Chain between you and me reaching out to me, glued together. Memories surrounding me, we learn to renew and mend our dreams."

  • I'm REALLY sorry. My sister watched this video and commented on it, but we share a computer and she forgot to log out of my account first. As you can see, she's a little negative...

  • @xoscummbagxoxo Sometimes when the Vocaloid users make the Vocaloids sing different languages, you can't understand it. Dye, for example is in English, and I was only able to understand it with subs.

  • Thanks, I thought it was, now I know it isn't

  • At 2:26 it sounds like "Chain between you and me, reaching out to me."

  • BEST SONG EVER! D<

I'd play this at a rave party!

  • Best female Vocaloid voice.

  • Where download mp3??

    Link plise!

    5 stars

  • @JurySunako pm me if you want the download link, its actually quite easy to get vocaloid song downloads lol

  • Love the song x3

  • すごく綺麗な曲ですね。

    ただ、歌詞がわからないのが残念ですorz

  • Amazing !

I luv it sooo much !!

One of my favorite song x3

But... The drawing style reminds me a little of Meltdown (with Rin)... Or was it me ? ^^'

  • Where can I download this?!??! D:

  • Loveless:: Nicovideo.

  • I found it nvm xD;;

  • since when did Luka sing in Russian?!

  • hey who gives

    this is great!

    :D

  • lol, i'm not saying that it isnt, but its a shock to me, thats all.

  • oh so that's why it didn't sound like japanese nor english *-*

  • Supposedly from what ive been hearing the song is originally in russian ^.^

  • This is the greatest Vocaloid song ever.

  • мда... тут русский еле распознается =.=. Не то, что в гимне России xDDDDDD

  • Love this, it sounds so calm.

  • "The world was black and white. Only the sky was blue. Black people and animals in the building, I was the only white one. The only one."

I wonder what philosophy hides behind these lyrics...

  • The black were all living beings, while the white are not.

  • cool!

  • The japanese accent is VERY thick.

I can't make out what she is saying.

I need the lyrics in Russian. I can make out a few sounds but nothing that really sounds like a whole word.

  • Мир был черно-белым. Только небо синее.

Черные люди и животные в здание, я был единственным белым.

    Был один.

I wonder why the creator didn't make use of her English voice bank (maybe more natural consonants).

    Anyway, I love this song!

  • hey anybody know of any luka spinoffs? are there even any yet besides luke and lulu (tho luke isnt a spinoff, just a genderbent) cuz luka rin meiko and kaito and all the other vocaloids have spinoffs.... and gumi too.... hmmmm....

  • Comment removed

  • The beginning is actually somewhat...hypnotic

  • sugoi!!! :3

    and great song is cool

is song happy yeah bye bye 5/5

  • Not bad. I liked it ;).

  • anyone who actually understand can explain in russian or english i understand both

  • Any one have the MP3 to this?

  • Comment removed

  • It sounds so cool. =D

  • o_o Black hair suits her :D

  • if anyone a ctually understood pls tell me what she said, i got no idea,

  • it's English mix with another language hard to determine what the language it is.

  • Russian.

  • this is such a good song from Luka D: god i love it.

  • i tried HARD.but couldn't make any russian word...except for one...that's some heavy russian there...they could have practiced better before singing srsly.-__-

  • Luka can't practice singing a song, she's a synthesizer software so it can only be like that.

  • lol thats because she sing russian in japanese syllables

  • Hmm, Luka has English syllables too, although I'm not sure if this song's author used them or not.

  • lol, at least u dropped a comment.

  • erm...so?

  • I think It is actually Russian... ^_________^ My cousin could hardly understand some of the Russian words because of the Japanese accent but it is still excitant for a voice synthesizer!!! ^____________^

  • Luka singing in Russian is a huge step for all of Vocaloid, even though it's very hard to understand and has a very heavy Japanese accent! But the fact that Luka's voice is so smooth and almost human-like definitely surpasses all. This would be a great recommendation for the first-time Luka listener, maybe even all of Vocaloid. Beautiful song overall. Thanks for uploading and High Quality version.

  • This song is sung in the Russian language but i heard from my friends that it was hardly recognizable russian.

  • This song is beautiful.

It sounds brilliant through headphones, I must admit~

  • I get your sarcasm. I am amused.

  • I love this song!

    Where could download it?

    Thax *^^*

  • In Nico Nico Sound ^^

Or you want me to send the link Owo?

  • This VOCALOID is a model comparatively good at English, but Russian is indeed difficult.

Please listen as a technical challenge.

This music teaches we Japanese about beauty of Russian just like Origa.

Even if the opening is an imitation, we will be to know genuine something before long.

I'm weaker in English than Luka.XD

  • I'm all with you. Some people just point out the mistakes, but I admire the challenging spirit of the composers who try to make vocaloids sing in various languages and let beautiful foreign songs popular.

I once learnd Russian and gave up, so I do know how difficult Russian is, which makes this composer more admirable.

    文句ばっか言うなら最初からボカロ曲聴くなっつーの!

  • The song is beautiful, but according to a native Russian the pronounciation is horrible, with a strong Japanese accent. Nevertheless, I love this song.

  • People who speak English from birth can mimic the sounds of other languages easier than other nationalities. How ever learning to speak the language and understand it is harder because English is a complex language.

  • I do not agree. Russian is much more complex than English. Both in phonetics and especially in grammar. English relatively a simple language.

By the way, here very strong accent. I could disassemble only a few words.

  • I don't know how hard learning Russian would be for me or anybody else. Just saying it's insanely easy for me to mimic another syllable in another language and found many people that I know can too. But none the less, I used the word, 'harder' not 'hardest' because I don't know what language would be the hardest to master for what nationality.

  • I read that a man who mastered a lot of languages said that the hardest he find is Chinese because Chinese has so many thousands of characters and the meanings changes drastically by pairing with different characters. People always say Japanese is difficult because more people learn Japanese than Chinese and because of the library of kanji which is from Chinese. The fact is Chinese has no specific set of alphabets (like English A-Z), it has other things for memorizing but it is very vast.

  • Not to mention the tone and pitch of words in chinese. You could say "ma" in two different tone, and it could mean horse or mom.

  • ついにロシア語のボカロ使いが現れたか・・・

    おそるべし!

    Russian vocaloid user?

How amazing and what a work!

  • It is unlikely. First - strong accent, secondly - translation (with Japanese?) not absolutely correct.

  • THIS IS SUCH A HUGE TUNE!!

her voice is so beauiful doesnt matter if its a logiciel or not I LOVE it!

  • luka is so cool and cute

  • catchy tune

  • is this the full song?? it's kinda short, no? very interesting. the abstract video is awesome and the voice is as always great.

  • very interseting video the song was very good. -_-"

  • Do the lyrics have anything to do with philosophy

  • It's in russian, and about having to do with philosophy, and since I'm not exactly fond of russian, I think it means being alone.

  • Judging by what was listed as the lyrics on NicoNico Douga, lyrics are something like "The world was black and white, only the sky blue. Black people and animals in the building. I was the only one white. The only one" (sic!)

  • Probably relating, then, to the concept of loneliness or otherwise being without anyone one feels they can turn to. But the rest of the lyrics would work better with saying if this is the case or not.

  • I'm Russian, and I'm trying to hear the Russian in this, but can't. I believe it's in Russian, it's just since Luka does have a bit of a Japanese accent and is menat to sing in JP and English, it's extremely hard to make out.

  • I found the Russian lyrics.

Could you give me/us the exact English translation? (if they are true)

Мир был черно-белым. Только небо синее.

Черные люди и животные в здание, я был единственным белым.

    Был один.

  • "The world was white-and-black. Ony the sky was blue.

Black humans and animals in the building, I was the only white one.

    I was alone."

  • Thank you very much!

  • 'Filozofio' means 'philosophy' in Esperanto, and the lyrics are:

The world was black and white.

    Only the sky was blue.

Buildings, people, and animals were black, and I was the only one white.

    I was alone.

(Transrated from Japanese lyrics on PIAPRO.)

On PIAPRO says the author that he/she is struggling in making the long version and it takes some time to finish it.
