Yep lots of the wars are over oil. A sad fact but true. Thats how important oil is today. Secondly, the biggest pacifists actually serve in the military. They dont want to go to war but at least they are willing to get in and fight for their country, unlike all the do gooders who think dialogue with the enemy will fix all the worlds problems.

Love the Aussies and Kiwis, but perhaps some should spend a little less time on the internet and much more time actually reading about the past 200 years of history. They have always been the most loyal allies of ours even when we made drastically bad decisions. That is not in their best interests. That being said there were projects they supported during The Cold War which were invaluable. I suggest "The Fatal Shore" by Robert Hughes for some enlightenment. Thanks again to NZ and AUS.

Aussie troops don't want to be there, it was never our war to begin with. But I'm proud that they are helping keep us safe. Its a shame that some troops kill for fun and get hell bent on revenge eg. that American "Kill Team"! Did you know that soldiers in Iraq send children in front of cars so the american troops will stop and not hit them. And if they stop the iraqi soldiers come out and ambush them. So most of the time american soldiers hit the children. Honestly, I feel so much pain for humanity. I never really understood why Iraq and Afghanistan and other countries dont like our freedom anyways...
