The way the Tamiya Volkswagen GTI's front end is designed, the car really absorbs the blows! After having my brothers and friends drive it (and I won't take any more chances) the front end has no cracks! So if you want a car that will improve the way people look at you as a driver, get the GTI.
The cars can drive in sand, but all the sand will end up in gear housings and the ESC. I found this out when I was cleaning the car, dirt and such was where the gears were. Also, when water proofing my car for the winter (yes, I know it's wrong) I opened the ESC and all this dirt came out! Tamiya made the cars so that they won't be ruined by any of this though, or else my car would have been broken after the first week.
Just to people below, if you run an electric rc car, especially an on road one, in the sand, you will ruin it; unless you have proper protection for the motor and other electrics. Sand will get into the motor housing and ruin it.
Yes, but it may be a height limitation for the chassis, but can be bought more shock and equip the car on the rally. And there is a need for every ride in the sand clean car.
You cant drive
