  • technicaL is excellent all she needs to do now is add the expression she needs to understand the music and reaaly add the style but really well done!!!

  • Ouch

  • Hello, im 13 ive been playing violin about 2 years and i am grade 4. She is good, but i doubt she passed grade 8 at this age, considering she has only been playing 2 years. Better to take your time than rush through grades withotu precision or intonation. She is good, but i doubt the quality of the grades she did was amazing. But other wise, pretty good.

  • @MsCrazyredhead

I think they judge differently for very young childrens..

  • what tune is this? i love the violin!

shes really good hope i can be as good as that or even better. hopefully.

  • ver fast lol.

  • I think that it was too early for her to be Grade 8 as her fingers have not fully developed, and besides she needs to 'feel' the music, and not treat it like a job :)

  • please stop playing the terrible violin

  • please stop!!!!!

  • In my opinion, it's too early for her to have g8 exam. A solid foundation is important for a good player. From what I see, she can't even use the bow correctly, so I think she can have g8 when she' s older and has better skills

  • I'm doing this piece right now...she's amazing for her age, but this doesn't sound like a very good pass for grade 8 to me. Even so, give it a few years and if she keeps improving she'll be pretty damn good. So yeah, she should be proud of herself. :)

  • smile!

  • It was quite high level for me to say something like this (since I'm only a grade 3 turning grade 4) but I think you could play better than that. In my honest opinion, I think it was a little too squeaky however, it was a nice attempt.

  • i wish i could hit my fingers in the right place

  • =.=乜有關年齡咩事啊?!

  • =.=咁都pass到...

  • @jonaleung2008

    証明左一樣野....細路考8級真係易pass好多

  • @jonaleung2008 証明左一樣野....細路考8級真係易pass好多

  • OMG

  • tbh not that good

  • This is what happens when you push somebody too much too fast. Teach them some love and emotion instead.

  • if its a rehearsal then how do u know if she passed?

  • OMG!!!! the title can be edited anytime!

  • @Viomaster322 they videoed her rehearsel and put it up after she had her exam!

  • OMG how long has she been learning and did she have a private tutor and what song is she playing?

  • wow! i havent even done my grade 1 and im 9 (Im doing Mine In June )

  • Is it her technique or something, because it seems to be pretty squeaky mostly.

  • @Take2Video1

it might be the violin, i remember when i had smaller violins (half and three quater sizes) they didn't sound very nice...

  • she was 9

  • @fungyiucho WTF im doing grade one and ive been playing since i was 7 :/ im 12 now!!

  • This girl has no emotion lol. But she is good!

  • agreed

emotion usually comes way later though, she looks really young

  • is it her technique that is bad or the violine/ in most places it sounds really squeeky!

  • Wish could play like that!

  • what is this piece of music? do you have the sheet you could send?

  • i think the squeakiness is because of a) the recording not helping b) WAY too much pressure on that bow! However, her bowing technique is pretty good, nice and straight. Keep it up!

  • Makes me wish i had a teacher. Self taught is fine with me but the bad thing is i don't where i go wrong =\

  • yeah im self taught with a few instruments (mainly just for fun not with much effort)

but i decided too much could go wrong with picking up bad habbits when learning violin (plus i wanted to take the instrument seriously, multiple hours practicing a day sort of thing) so a teacher was definatly the way to go. Its never too late to get one its better than letting mistakes go unnoticed

  • i can't afford it that why i'm self taught.....i'd probably try to get a teacher when i get a part time job.

  • wow thats great!

how many years has she been playing for?

I have been playing for 4 months and have passed grade 5 exams.

  • less than 2 years!!!

  • omg 2 years and she plays like this!!!!! how long does she practice for?

I think the problem with me is I am scared of shifting positions (I have done my grade 5 though) just because I don't know where to put my hand unless I learn the shifts for every single note.

  • @JENandBEX

4 months and grade 5? wtf you must be practicing 8 hrs a day! or your sight reading sucks. LOL

  • @lhlee888 ive been playing for 3 months and am taking grade 4, its possible - and my sight readings good - i already have grade 8 flute so i can already read music! thats the key!

  • @FigureSkaterPoppy91

reading music is as simple as abc, how often do you practice and how long do you practice?

  • @lhlee888 every day for about an hour :)

  • 咁都pass...

  • great, talented little girl very impressive

  • you are really good

    how old are you?

I'm 10 and im only on grade 3.

    You did really well

  • thank you. she is 9.

  • I AM SO JEALOUS!!! I'm doing my exam next week and I'm playing the same piece. I find the double-stops and the position moving very hard. Any tips?

  • you should have a teacher, don't you?

  • im learning this song...

  • nice job! what is the name of the song?

    it is very good :P

  • thanks. Fruhlingswalzer (Spring Waltz) by SHOSTAKOVICH

  • this student must be practising very hard!

how many marks does she get in the exam?

  • 107

  • 我係拉小提琴同吹flute既, 我覺得好走音囉, 同埋唔應該用手臂拉琴(只用手腕, 但你手腕我feel到好硬), 不過都ok呀!

  • i only 5grade,i feel amazing.ADD OIL~

  • she is very good! lve it! (dis she pass her exam?)

  • dont know yet. we are waiting for result.
