The question that arises for me from this is: if we accept that there is no "me" because we cannot hold it or point to it, then by the same criteria how may we know there is actually something called "awareness"? That too is a form of identity that cannot actually be defined by any means other than its being aware of its existence - much like "me".
Probably the best indictment of the self help literature ever! Yet it points to just how seductive the self help books are by sustaining the myth of the illusory "I".
Well put. Mooji says the same - to paraphrase him - self help is like trying to put a sticking plaster on something that isn't there.
