Alright, this is improv. but this is too clean for me. too organized and calculated. I'd like to see more "off" moments...out of harmony, out of beats....predictable tunes are boring! ----don't get me wrong, these guys are wonderful compared to many other musicians.

I definitely understand what you're saying...but there are subtle moments where there are tells. Nothing crazy because regardless how much training you have or how much "skill" you may have, talent and the ability to recognize when a change in key is necessary or a simple change in the root note is you can make any improv sound as though it's been rehearsed.
