Thanks man, thats got to be the easiest song to learn, what I mean is I never knew it was that easy, I'm not sure about the chorus tho' (does it matter?) I found where you were playing A I played E and I think it sounded better, but as others have said you are a good teacher, I have got loads of songs that I would like to play on gittar from this period, most of them are 3 chord wonders, but I still find them hard, or maybe when they transpose them they lose some of the chords.

i was looking for help on the chorus specifically and you never said the line. "id go the whole wide world id go the whole wide world to find where they hide her". which is the tricky timing part....so maybe you should include that

Actually, a true "E" chord you only strum the top 4 strings. For the true "A" chord, you strum only the middle four strings. This isn't very important, as the lower strings are drowned out, but it's good to know.

it could be your guitar is out of tune, you can buy a tuner at your local music store for ~$20. Another factor could simply be price / brand. I mean, I don't know what your guitar is, but there is a huge difference in the $2000 guitars vs. $300 guitars other than just the price.
